I just enjoy reading through the Bible using my John MacArthur study Bible. It gives a nice introduction for each book. Also it has a load of commentary and cross references.

I agree with Project, I have MacArthur’s library as he does.. It is a great starting point. For me, John tends to be a bit legalistic at times but for the most part, I do like him. Also, Charles Stanley is a good one while working on your own life. He has a site: www.intouch.com.
MacArthurs site is www.gty.org
I think project found his Library CD much cheaper than I did, but I think you can find it at eBay and other places now relatively cheap. I do enjoy my MacAurthur study bible, I have graduated to Bullinger (The companion Bible) for the time being, but I still look it over from time to time. IMHCO

This Bible is good if you want to get back into a regular Bible reading schedule. I'm not big into the modern translations but the notes are excellent.

That is good to hear. It is nice to see your passion of God's word. I must always remind myself to always have the passion. It can be easy to get into a rut sometimes if you don't take time to slow down in life.
