First of all, I am a gentile. However, I am very pro Israel, and think that I may be called eventually to be a missionary in Israel.

I was wondering if someone could point me in a good direction to find about Messianic beliefs. Or if someone could give the highlights of the Messianic beliefs that would be great.

I have some questions too. Why do you all right God as "G-d" and "Lord" as "L-rd." Also, can a gentile be a Messianic? I am not big on denominations but I think I may fit best in a Messianic church.

 hi! welcome to the MJ forum. We're happy to host your curiosities and fellowship :)

I am a Gentile and a Messianic. No, one does not have to be of any certain ethnicity to be Messianic because Jew and Gentile are one in Mashiach/Messiah. :) Yes, there maybe distinctions in calling or role, but the righteous life is for every child of G-d.

And the issue of G-d vs. God is explained here (same link as the one as Athaliamum posted):

In the second section. We have had many threads on this issue, so it might clear things up!

Thanks for the replies, I have another question though. It is kind of a test question to see if this is for me. What do ya'll think about Divorce?

As Yeshua taught it. There is no grounds for divorce but adultary.

Ok good, I am not sure I agree with that but it answered the question that I was trying to have answered. (Whether or not the answer would come from the Rabbinical (sp) law or from Jesus.)
