I found this site (http://studylight.org/col/ht/), it has a hebrew bible lesson each week, for this week Nov26th to Dec 2 ( sunday to Shabbat) is the words about Salvation.

Yasha
And Yeshua

It has a nice study in it for those interested.

Yes, Yeshua save my soul! :prayer:

Yes, I agree, I just looked up the lesson for this week and it is on 'breath' the ruach.

Wow, Yeshua, and the Ruach, I wonder what lesson was before that, Abba? ;)

neshamah (http://studylight.org/col/ht/) - it speaks of the beginning of mankind and how HaShem took some mud and made it a living bieng by his Holy Breath,. WOW!

I also like Ezeikel 37 - where G-d gets him to prophecy over dired up bones in the valley and G-d brings his breath and makes the dry bones standup alive as a mighty army. Very powerful.

I first of all used www.hebrew4christians.com (http://www.hebrew4christians.com) to start off my Hebrew studies.

Studylight's a good resource as well :)

First, a technical question: how do you get the Hebrew to display correctly?

An interesting point made by Dr. Edward Horowitz in "How the Hebrew Language Grew" is that the words: nun-shin-mem, nun-shin-bet, and nun-shin-pe all relate to breathing or blowing. They only differ by being having a different labial in the final position. (bet, mem, and pe are labials, i.e. letters pronounced using using the lips.) The word often translated as soul (nefesh) is just the last of three with the shin and pe reversed. Thus it might be conclude that the concept of blowing in Hebrew is conveyed by nun + shin + a labial.
