Ok.. so... G-d is doing His thing as usual, and I'm walking the path of "Ok so i'm following, we're going after You and it's dark... and I can only see where my light has me going."...
I need peace... I don't know where my wedding will be - and in Alabama, if you don't have a June wedding location nailed by mid to late December... you can count on not having the wedding...
Added stress is about all I can say.. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v209/antsinmypants/Emoticons/crazy-silly/th76yz0zc.gif
So.. I'm not worrying, I've emailed my elders to set up a talk with them and my parents, copied my parents and Andreas...
I've emailed the photographer we would like to have to set up an appointment to meet and talk over costs and get it nailed down or we won't have a photographer (Same thing about the location, have it down 7 months ahead or ... sorry!)...
His will be done, just pray for the peace that passeth all understanding.. cos I really could use it.
Don't pray for patience though (I already know I'm being tested). :D Thanks! :D

LOL P_G.
Pennsylvania is far from Alabama - and we have most the stuff ready here.. and have to fly in about 6-12 folks from Germany.. hehe...
It would be great though.
Mom and I are catering since we all have special dietary needs (at least on my side [mom, dad, sister, brother in law, self] , and Andreas and definitely my mother in law).
My mom will be doing the cakes (I may cook, she will decorate) - she did the cake for my ketubah signing and it was awesome!
Somewhere I have a photo and will post it so you can look...
Oh yeah and open invitation to all ya'll.. you are more than welcome to come down, we will be looking at the hotels to see if we can get any good deals. :D

It's funny I get where I think I can plan something and G-d goes "ahem, I don't think so.. who'se your Daddy?"
and I have to go.. "oh, right.. it's YOU!" :D
and I have to be little kid all over going "Ok, so, what's the plan, where are we going?" and "are we there yet, are we there yet. . . are we there yet?" .. "do you love me.... ;)" and... "are we there yet, are we there yet. . . are we there yet?"
and when we get there... "WOW! This is wonderful!".
For a while I can be calm and then it stops sticking..
My thing is maintaining the calm so that others don't freak out.. and when other people freak out I start to... uhm... freak out too. :P
My mom and granny are like "you have to get on this right away" and i'm thinking "I have to work or I get fired.." and then is the next thought "you know, He has thus far provided everything and we have freaked out and it's all come together really well..." then I go "oh no! what are we going to do!?" all drama-queen like.
hehe..
At least I can laugh at myself ;D

Alright, I've read enough, enough to know you are not trusting, you are believing in the past happening of 'what happens if you don't in Alabama'. Now stop it! ( insert Yenta smilie in here ) :)
YOU serve a G-d with whom NOTHING is IMPOSSIBLE, so let it go and give it to HIM, let him be part of this, not just on the day, but on all the days leading up to it. This should not be as stressful as it is being on you, Remember, he knows all that needs to be done, who, what , when ,where and why, and even how the weather will be that very instant you say 'I do', so don't push him out, don't rely on human dealings of things past, know that He makes a way, when there is no way, when there seems to be too late................remember Sarah? Elizabeth? they 'knew' they could never have a child because no other woman had before them ( except for Elisheva, who probably has heard of Sarah, but didn't thinks she too could be a miracle)..
So Stop your kvetching, and show everyone the faith you have in the L-RD you serve!
Now, and not a minute later! ( insert yenta shaking her finger at you here) :)

Ha, you should know me by now i have about.. well.. a lot of ants in my pants.. ;) Come to think of it - after the "wakeup call" (which i posted above) - and the prayers I feel a lot more calm about it.
I come from a home of worriers and it's hard to break a habit. Breaking habits that are already formed is... difficult. Working on it though!
I'll just tell people when they ask, it's handled, and when I know the particulars, they will too. No more drama queen today http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v209/antsinmypants/Emoticons/gestures/57.gif I have month-end stuff to w ork on so energy focused there. (honestly!)

Shalom sis, Shalom
You can have the kind of wedding I did - had the setting and logistics all worked out and rehearsed for a absolutely beautiful outdoor wedding under a 40ft canopy of ancient moss draped oaks in a sun dappled hardwood grove (as clearly stated in the wedding invitations)..... and it rained non-stop for the day before and the day of, ground saturated, soaked and muddy beyond imagining (had been no forecast for a week on either side of the date :().... a church I used to attend offered their sanctuary and fellowship hall with less than 5 hours notice and for free!!! AND not one person who planned to attend got lost or missed the event!! (set my Bride's maid's son in his car in the pouring rain at the turnoff for the drowned out place to give directions to the new place)
G-d has all the plans and you'll get married the way He wants - there has not been a wedding yet that didn't have a whole slew of things that didn't go "right" - things that folks talked about for many years later as they remembered the joy and t'zuris that made it uniquely *their* wedding..... just relax, do what can be done and let G-d paint the picture....
btw - the photographer we were supposed to have lost the pictures and all we got was the audio recording my husband did on his stereo and some pics a friend of his took ( a friend we didn't even know was coming from over 1000 miles away), even the pics Gort's father took - none came out and he was an amateur photographer with his own dark room!!! Again, let G-d paint the picture and rest in the skill of the Master's Hand!
Praying for Shalom v'Chesed for all!!!
b'Shalom

We had your normal wedding, now I wished we had just eloped. But I'm personally not into events, they make me tired. I found we did our wedding the way we did for everyone else, not us. If I could do it again instead of spending money on meals of salmon and pretty fittings etc. I'd get married on the beach with my two needed witnesses and the sound of G-d's thndering ocean in the background, very minimalistic. Hey that way I wouldn't even have to buy shoes - bargin!
But I'll be praying you get the wedding you hope for.

Just talked with my mom.. I wanted to let you all know there has been a change in my Granny’s vision. We’ve put in a call to "the eye foundation" where she was being seen and she is really upset at my mom for doing so.
She can't read the computer screen because it is so fuzzy.
My mom said, "I told her that they may have to move her surgery date up to today and she said 'tough, I am not ready. I said they could also reassure you that this is fine. She is really in the doldrums today. She hasn't even dressed and says she doesn't want to do anything today. I know that she won't admit to being scared, but I think that is what is going on. When we were out yesterday, I had to tell her where every change in the ground (curbs, stairs) was because she can not see it."
I’m in agreement... something needs to be done.
Please be in prayer something can be done and we can get her taken care of, even if that means going in today or tomorrow instead of Tuesday.
Thanks

We've got some bad weather right now, I wanted to come on and let you guys know.
There's prime weather for tornados, and we're keeping our eyes and ears open. We were under a watch since there was a funnel cloud that hadn't touched down that was headed our direction.
I'm cleaning up my room getting things off the floor just in case my room floods (It used to when my brother was in here before he got married and I had the other room (before granny moved in))...
I'm not panicking, I promise. This happens every spring, fall and winter.
It's been warm fall/summer like weather and we're dropping temps with that storm that just went through the midwest, it's a big wall over us right now. (if you're interested, click me (http://weather.myfoxal.com/myfoxal/index.html))
We moved my dad downstairs to sleep, and my sister rushed home to get her husband and her cats. Their house is on a slab and doesn't have a basement.
We have a house that is half in the ground - the basement is only really a "half basement" since the back side of the house is exposed... but it's considered "safer" for this kind of weather.
So Mischeif and Mayhem are coming to visit their cousin Maedchen (only "cousins" in the sense of being cats and in the family...) - and we called my brother and my sister in law to ask them if they've moved down into their basement (2 miles from us)... They said they were already down there with the gerbils and Johannes their new kitten.
Wind is picking up so I have no idea how much longer I will have cable... let alone power.
See ya'll when the weather clears ;)
