I am off to take my theology final. I am not thinking it is going to go very well due to the fact that I couldnt get the notes I was missing till just a couple hours before the test and there is so much stuff that I doubt I'll remember it all. Its a test on providence, creation, angels, and satan, Hopefully I will do well.
:sorry:
Any of you got finals comin' up?

I go to Univeristy of phoenix online. I do 1 class for 5 weeks solid and then have a week off between classes.
I rarely have actual tests, but I average 1 individual paper and 1 team paper a week...and usually a PowerPoint presentation with at least one of them.

I pray that your exam went well, Mark.
As for me, my finals don't start for about three weeks. Honestly I don't know how I'm going to do. I did very well on the midterms, but this caused me to slack off for the second half of the semester. So after my Math GRE this Saturday, it's time to review.

All the very best with your studies, you two.
Nothing compares to ongoing study even when you don't have assignments. As a retired prof, I could tell the difference on papers between those who actually learned the subject and those who crammed. It does show on the exams.
Cheers,
Jim

Yes, I have finals in three weeks. . .and three concerts and a recital. . .and I just found out that I'm supposed to play the piano part for practically all of the class projects in Theory--it's obvious most of them don't play the piano because the parts are sooo difficult (they seem to have just punched stuff into the computer) and the distances they expect me to reach my teacher cannot even reach. . . I'm not looking forward to it. And to think I just signed up for 23 credits next semester. . .ahh. . .

Not in school used to be and know it can be stressful keeping all those that are taking finals i am praying. Just know Jesus will help you and to lean on him he is the only one to help you, plus studying. Keeping you all in prayer God will help provide your mind to be present and knowledge will come that the anxiety will not overcome the ecam

How right you are. You know, this reminds me of a certain sermon that I heard at church a few weeks ago. A visiting pastor talked about evangelism in the Middle East. He said that some people think the Middle East is too dangerous right now, and that we should wait to preach the Gospel there when things calm down. He then pointed out that the Middle East has always been a dangerous place.
In a way, this is like the life of the Christian college student. As college students we are always burdened by exams, projects, and other commitments. How easy it is to neglect our relationship with God through Christ, thinking that we can focus on the Gospel once our lives become less tedious. But we all know, at some level, that life never gets any easier. Therefore I wish to exhort all my fellow college students to remember Christ in everything at the present time. If we can't find our joy in God right now because we are too busy, then we will never be able to.

I definately know about finals ... I'm currently both finishing up a BS with a double major in Christian Ministry and Biblical Studies from an undergrad school (I finish this degree in April), and working on my Masters of Theology at Dallas Theological Seminary ... so yeah I'm real busy right about now ...

Well, I did better than I thought. I didn't fail the thing which is good. I might have even pulled off low B. The essay part of the test was purely awful. I could not write it for the life of me and felt compelled to write an apology to the grader that it was so painful to read, lol.
