This question will have a two part answer, you must get both parts right in order to receive blessings. Blessings are reserved for members and reps to be given to Mods who get both parts right. Having said that, here is the question:

Where do mercy and truth meet together, and righteousness and peace have kissed each other?

Remember: you must get both parts correct. Blessings to members, and reps to the Mods.

By the way, you may post your answers here and I will pm you to let you know if you are right or wrong. If you are right, then either blessings or reps are coming. If you are wrong, then I'll pm you with the answer. I will not post the correct answer openly so that all who respond will be given the opportunity to find out for themselves.

Good luck and God bless

Till all are one.

Psalm 85:10 Mercy and truth are met together; righteousness and peace have kissed each other.

Between the cross & the resurrection power of Jesus meeting God at the mercy seat. The difference between law & grace. Jesus was the ultimate sacrifice that we could be justified through faith in him and not of the law or works.

Mercy and truth are at odds with each other, truth demands punishment of the sinner and mercy says let him go. Mercy can't be given at the expense of truth.
Righteousness and peace are also at odds with each other, righteousness demands unbending justice and peace says no more enmity. There is only one place where mercy and truth are met together and righteousness and peace have kissed each other. That is in the person and work of Christ Jesus the Lord of Glory. He satisfied strict justice and now mercy is free to all who trust Him. He brought in an everlasting righteousness which is imputed to all who believe and now God is at peace with us and we with Him.
Psa. 85:10 is the Gospel that is the hope of sinners.

Till all are one.Where did these meet? In Christ Jesus.
When were they reconciled? When he poured out his life on Calvary.

Congrats on your new position here at CF!

Part one is in Jesus Christ. Part two is at the foot of the cross.
