Not because it's bad or anything but because I work there. On Dec 20th UPS will deliever 240 parcels per second for the entire day worldwide. So chances are if you ship something I may gripe at you under my breath that day lol.

So please, cater to me laziness ^_^

(PS--dont tell my boss what ive said here)

(PSS--For the next 5 days, if you buy an IPOD in the US chances are ive had my paws on it. Touched many many THOUSANDS the other day. It was crazy).

talk about the height of laziness, the epitomy of sloth, oh, the inadequacy of shame. Strike up the band, where's the bleeding heart violinist smilies when you need them? Ohhh, so sad, just breaks my little ever pumpin' heart. Reminds ya of Linda's Poor poor pitiful me. what are we 'sposed to do now? ignore brown and call fedex or (gasp!) usps? i hear hugh downs bought 50% of ups & they're gonna change the name to ups-n-downs and to counter that ups decided to merge with fed ex and change their name to fed-ups but not till after the hollydaze when they can eek every little bit of work energy out of all the complainers aint that right L.E.?

Exactly what i've been sayin! ^_^

Haha. Ammo is an explosive hazmat and only gets shipped ground unless you're the Army shipping canon shells through freight. So I don't see any of that. I once saw an entire can filled with books from CBD. I really wanted to open them to see what people were reading. But we tend to look down on that. Now if the box is open, we're allowed to have a peak. Amazon is the biggest customer though so you dont want them. ;):P

Did you consider that if no one ships UPS that they might not need you there to do nothing anymore. Then you would have to get a real job. ;) A smart gut like you can certianly figure out how to get someone else to do all the heavy lifting. I was never able to do it. I was always the guy with the strong back and weak mind. Now I am the one with the broken back and no mind.

haha, I think everyone who goes to SBTS works at UPS, well maybe not everyone but there is a pretty good number there. I have a good friend that started there this summer when he moved down there, unless he switched recently he unloads the trucks.

Haha. Fed Ex could use the buisness. Infact, we even transport some of Fed Ex's stuff for them so I might not even get a break. Go DHL instead (ironic eh? ^_^)

yeah, I think he said there are only a couple of guys he knows there that don't go to the seminary, it's a good job though. I'm not a fan of the hours though, he works from 3 am to 8 am so he's always in bed early, it makes talking/calling a little difficult, I don't want to wake him up. What load or unload the trucks or something different and do you work early too, I'm guessing you may not since you are still up?

I plan on shipping everyone I know brick samples via UPS for the holidays....

It could be worse, it could be fruitcake.

That alone is a back breaker......^_^

And someone once called me lazy for not wanting to go to class one day. . .

BTW, did I mention that I've just decided that my mom could use a bunch of stone stepping stones for Christmas--and that I've decided to ship them via UPS? :P

Actually, I am sure they do you've just not had the luck of it being yours. They have the same methods of loading and unloading really. Ive stepped on boxes before and its usually when they cave in on me and I trip getting out of the way. What can ya do? :swoon:

A friend at school who is a lab monitor had me watch the lab for her yesterday so that she could have a UPS interview--she got the job and will be a driver's assistant. . .it certainly pays better than my job. If I didn't like working retail, didn't like the people at my store, and wasn't a girl I'd do it. . .but I don't want to spend that much time with a stranger.

We hired a guy to work with me in the warehouse that I manage, he works at UPS from like 3- 9AM and works with me from like 11:30 till we get done, he gets tired as junk about three hours into the day, tell your friend to get alot of sleep when she isnt working, especially during this season.
