Describe - in few words - your relationship with Jesus Christ...

I ask Him about the right and wrong of things every day.
I ask Him to show me things in my life that will open the way for others to see Him in what I do.
His Spirit which He sent often makes me think twice about what I'm doing, to go beyond what I want, and to submit to what He wants to happen in my life and my circumstances.
I read what He's like almost daily, and every week I gather with other people to discuss what He's like so I don't get far off-track from Him.

Better than it was 2 years ago. And growing.

DEAR SISTER,
"In a few words", huh? That's tough! My Bible takes 1208 pages discussing that relationship!
Well . . . the relationship varies from day to day, depending on both my needs and my openness. Some days He is primarily my Lord, some days primarily my Savior, some days primarily my Elder Brother. i learn new facets to our relationship minute my minute as i learn more about Him and, through the working of the Holy Spirit, learn more about myself.
i guess if i had to pick one word which predominates of late, it would be TRUSTING. i have finally been able, as the Third Step of Alcoholics Anonymous suggests, to make a decision to turn my will and my life COMPLETELY over to the care of God. i turned it partially over to Him 7 years or so ago, but recently have been gifted with enough Trust in Him to go the whole way. WHAT BLESSINGS I HAVE RECEIVED SINCE! if you are interested (and i haven't used up my "few words" yet), i came across the following prayer--source unknown--which i have been using as a twice-daily reminder to myself of the commitment i have made. It has worked wonderfully!
"From this moment to all eternity,
Thy will, not mine be done.
Command and rule and reign in me.
i yield up myself without reserve,
and i promise, with Thy help and power,
rather to give up the last drop of my blood
than knowingly or willingly be untrue or disobedient to Thee."
IN CHRIST,
ephraim

JESUS IS MY JOY, THE LOVE OF MY LIFE!

It's like a rubber band. I draw away from him and lose my focus, then something happens to remind me, inspire me, nudge me - whatever - and I snap back close to him again for a while. Then I find myself slowly drawing away again. It's a vicious cycle, but one that is slowly improving as I become, little by little, more disciplined and better able to trust in him.
I do talk to him and/or God every day though, and I try to read at least a little bit of my Bible almost every day. It's getting better but is not yet where it needs to be.

Jesus is my guide, savior, teacher, my friend and my everlasting father in heaven. (pretty good...is that a few words?)

Right now, it's a struggle. :(
I have spent my life in the "rubberband" kind of relationship that snoochface described.

I pray everyday that the Lord would show how to know him more & more!!!
I pray for His guidance in all things. And that I may glorify his name in all things.

Yeah, I know... It's hard to select what to say once you have so many wonderful things to mention.
God bless you

I see, it has happened to me.
That's a proof that no man in the world is able to live withou His direction.
