I Will Probably Be Leaving

Yes, once again it looks like I will be leaving. And yes, once again it is because of selective enforcement of the rules by certain individuals. I'm not sure exactly when I will take my leave (or if I will be ejected first). It really doesn't matter, does it?

Still, there are a lot of individuals here on this forum that I have grown to love and respect, and I will miss all of you when I go. Just take care, keep your faith and make it stronger, and remember that Christ will lead you where you want to go. He NEVER EVER closes a door where He does not also OPEN A WINDOW. And it seems I am forever climbing through windows, for which I am greatly appreciative...

I've "left" a couple of times...always decided the good outweighed the bad.

It's sorta like life--('course the only way ya can leave life is to be a hermit or be dead)--there are things that can and cannot be controlled, and part of our Christian pilgrimage is to be in the world, just not of it. So the forum is a microcosm of this--you have and can affect a lot of folks in great ways here. To walk away and shake off the dust, well there is a time and place for that, but I don't think your work is done here, for if there is even one person (and a new one shows up everyday) that you can speak with, encourage, influence, and love, then you should stay. The only time Jesus said to leave was when..."[Mat 10:14] And whosoever shall not receive you, nor hear your words, when ye depart out of that house or city, shake off the dust of your feet." Many are still hearing!:clap:

That path outta CF is pretty well-trod, sad to say. I have walked it several times myself, twice involuntarily. There are some gorgeous, dear people here, they must be made of firmer stuff, or are they just so good, they can't see the injustice and toxic waste splattered around, I don't know.

It really helps to stay away for a while. But I think sometimes, you grow up a little, become a little more of a realist about this big old bad world. You seem to reconnect with the things in your life before all those posts and staff foolishness seem to smear them.

You can come back much stronger and learn your own ways of dealing with whatever gets thrown at you and your peace of mind.

Sometimes it's difficult to remember that nothing that is said or done on CF can touch our our Lord God. It almost becomes pathetic watching flawed human beings try so hard and so long.

Ive left before and unlike menno the good has never outweighed the bad. I really enjoy not being on this site A LOT. But eventually I will creep back to check on a couple people, read a post or two and then I get to coming around more often till the cycle repeats itself.
