OK then

Now seems to me that deer season is about to open in Pennsylvania here is the first question for discussion.

After you have shot your deer how long do you have to bleed it to make sure all the blood is out of it? Also if you get a pretty heavy one does any one have any tips on how to hoist it up by yourself?

Second topic

Now mind you I don't drink alcohol but I know some do. And since Football season is upon us nothing says Sunday to a messianic man like sitting around in sweat pants and watching the game with a cold one.

Are there any Kosher beers? This may be important

You know I recently realized that some potatoe chips are cooked in Lard so here is a tip guys watch for that heckster on the bag before hitting the dip! By the way Helluvagood dips are OU

Firemens Carry for Deer, moose you can't lift.

If you contact a Orthodox Rabbi especially say Chabaddnick, he will tell you how to Dispatch and Hunt correctly in case you were wondering about weaponry.....You are using a Bow? (grin)

Ahhh...., you're not a cohen are you or a pastor/teacher/priest?
Certain kohanim never shed blood, some are especially trained and selected.

In absence of Knowledge, (smile) Some will say..., If G-d put the deer in your sights, he wasn't telling you to take a picture.

Pulley and rope lifts all deer and if you have a come-a-long for your car, the point is moot.

When you have nothing a Log over a rock will lift the deer high enough to drain if you get it long enough and balance it right.

LOL if any of this was helpful....I am a Sage and Writer/sopher not a Hunter but I lived 15 years in Alaska.

You are correct I am a Roeh not Rabbi or Kohanim. I just have the wrong make up and education to take any other title. Though I am happy with what I have and I think can add to the kingdom where I am at.

Part of that is education mine came from Bible College not Yeshiva though that is getting fixed even now. It is very hard to keep "going back to school" when you have a family to care for you know?

I never even saw a moose let alone shot one (sorry no bow) I have been bear hunting but think it is better if you are wearing your britches when you hunt.

LOL.....

Kosher rating also COSTS alot of money......Go figure out who wants the business and is willing to pay....but if you look close at food you will find the very generic Circle U for almost all Kosher Close foods

Besides P_G if you find something you want to drink and it is not Kashrut........Claim you're reform.....(smile)

The Greatest Orthodox Rabbi I met said if you exclude for reason of becoming what is not already natural, then your Kasher has become a castration of what the ALmighty made you to be.

(smile) There is more IN judaism than the most adherent of Torah Messianic would have realized and Grace is not a foreign idea proposed by Saul/Paul but a continuation of another sect of Jewich thought that existed in Pauls day and He studied.

He merely found out HOW it applied now.....and Who.

PREGNANT TURKEY STORY

One year at Thanksgiving, my mom went to my sister's house for the
traditional feast. Knowing how gullible my sister is, my mom decided
to play a trick. She told my sister that she needed something from the
store.

When my sister left, my mom took the turkey out of the oven, removed
the stuffing, stuffed a Cornish hen, and inserted it into the turkey,
and
re-stuffed the turkey. She then placed the bird(s) back in the oven.
When it was time for dinner, my sister pulled the turkey out of the
oven and proceeded to remove the stuffing. When her serving spoon hit
something, she reached in and pulled out the little bird.

With a look of total shock on her face, my mother exclaimed,
"Patricia, you've cooked a pregnant bird!" At the reality of this
horrifying
news, my sister started to cry.

It took the family two hours to convince her that turkeys lay eggs!

Yep, SHE'S BLONDE!

Play the same video of a kids show over and over. The same one. Something like Barney or Teletubbies.

We have made Hanukkah from: Tree branches that has had 9 branches, mixing flower & water, 9 candles on a small log, My favorite that I made was from the cartridge shells that I got from a WWII German Lugar that belonged to a German officer from a Jewish work camp that my father-in-law got when he was over there. Hey, while on the topic of trucks. I'm looking for a Chev ute that can tow 4 ton thats under 1998. Over here the after sales is non existant because Chev is an import. Any ideas?

Also, I'm currently looking at a 1993 Chev Silvarado 1500. Its done really low Miles and seems to be in reasonable condition for its age. You american fellas heard any comebacks on this model at all??

The Silverado is a good truck but I am not 100% sure that it can haul 4 tons. Are you SURE you need that much snot? What are you going to haul that is 4 tons?

If you need to go that much you will probably need at least a Dualy with a 5th wheel on it. Or you could look at like a F350 / F450 class truck chassis.

I would go with diesel if you are going for that kind of a rig due to the low end torque that they can develop

Maybe over there they can pull 4 ton, but here they only allow them to pull 3.5 ton. I got a Range Rover with a 4.4 V8 convertion under the donk, and it can pull 4 ton. Amazing little vehical, but underpowered. Which is why I'm looking for either a 350 or 400 chev. Otherwise, I'll put a 302 ford under the donk for the extra sting.

I'm a tree lopper and I have to cart the big logs...doesn't take long to get 4 ton of logs.

Ohh...and F series are wayyyy to dear over here. Almost double the chev...status symbol.

Gotta go get some more logs...boys are waiting for me.

Hey we are back open again!

Question: We as messianic talk allot about the Moedim and not celebrating things like Christmas and Easter. What are your thoughts about the Super Bowl?
The deferent’s I believe is that Christmas and Easter have been created to worship G-d with, but have taken and was birthed with and from pagan form of worshiping of the Sun-god. And then offered to G-d or put in his face [sort of to speak]

Football was or is not offered or never was intended to be offered to G-d in any way as a form of worship to him. BUT! [That’s a big but] I do believe that to many football has become a god.

I mean it has almost turned into another holiday. Do you guys have super bowl parties or just forget it?

Bottom line, football is just a game, and kept in it’s proper prospective as being just a game, I’m cool with it.

Thoughts?

My thoughts; I use to LOVE football. But it become a money sport [like Monday night football was taken off the air just so they could charge people to watch it on cable or satellite hookup] just like all sports and I don’t care that much about watching football now days. But! I still like to get together with some friends and watching the Super Bowl, I saw the first Super Bowl, and have watched every one since. When they make you pay to see it, I will not watch it no more. I already have ordered 2 cases of chicken wings [72 wings total] my wife makes the greatest hot wings you ever tasted.:yum: {and I help)

As far as it being worshipped as a god goes, it brings to mind the Aztecs. This is what i found:

The games of the Aztec (http://www.mnsu.edu/emuseum/prehistory/latinamerica/meso/cultures/aztec_empire.html) and many other cultures of Latin America, were activities for entertainment and sport. At times, these games were played for ritual and sacrificial purposes. A ball court was found in the temples at La Venta (http://www.mnsu.edu/emuseum/prehistory/latinamerica/meso/sites/la_venta.html) of the Olmecs (http://www.mnsu.edu/emuseum/prehistory/latinamerica/meso/cultures/olmec.html) who lived in the hotland of the Gulf Coast, where rubber grew. This court was used for the game Tlachtli which is the origin of basketball. Tlachtli was the game which was played from Honduras to Arizona as early as 500 B.C. It was played in a rectangular court and the ball was made of hard rubber. In the middle of the court hung a stone or wooden ring "basket". The players used only the legs, hips or elbows to hit the ball. This game was considered sacred and was played in front of the elite. The losers of Tlachtli would be killed.

I saw a documentary over the weekend on how chickens are separated by machines. They begin with an assembly line of workers that clean them. The entire process is very sanitary from beginning to start. All of the machines are kept clean.

The only meat that ever passes through those machines are chicken, of course, since that is what they are engineered for. That would make them biblically clean.

It was cool to see a vat about the size of one of those cement truck mixing vessells filled quickly with buffalo wings. The seasonings added and all mixed up together took no time at all it appeared.

I'm getting hungry now.
