View Full Version : Anti-Christ and End Times

So, what is your End Times view?
Do you think the Anti-Christ is alive today and waiting patiently? (In the poll above, I do not wish to argue or offend any Catholics. Some people believe and have believed throughout history that the Pope is the Anti-Christ. It is only a question, please don't send me hate mail.)
Do you think God still has a plan for Israel or are they no longer in the plan (dispensationalism)?
When will it happen? I know none of us can really know, but an educated guess or an idea based on recent events.
God Bless!

i think the end is getting closer and closer. and the US is trying to stop it, such as making sure iran and north korea not having nuclear weapons. i firmly believe that if those two countries have nuclear weapons we will be in danger of having a full blown nuclear war.

I didn't vote. I'm not real sure where I stand on all of this, as I find it very confusing. Also, I don't like to dwell on it, which tends to aggrevate other Christians. See, since I'm not sure what is truly going to happen I find it frightening, so I would rather envision the possibility I may die an old woman, warm in my bed with my family and friends surrounding me, and then slipping off to meet my Savior in Heaven. :) Maybe not logical, but much more comforting than the chaos I envision if He does come back.

I cannot believe this post is still here and some mod has not been knocking on the poster's PM door. My suggestions: reword the poll quick like or delete this post completely before they do it for you.;)
By the way, I didn't vote because, while I believe the ****:liturgy: is AN antichrist, I do not believe he or she is THE antichrist, the "beast" of Revelation. And I am not sure if that beast will be a diplomat or not. Oh well.
(How's that for avoiding a charge of flaming anyone, folks?) :P

I believe a foreign diplomat will be the antiChrist, that God will still use Israel, and that the end times are very near.

The office of pope fits well with the description of anri-Christ.
God is not done with Israel.
Each day we're one day closer to the end then we were the day before.

That's what I was gonna say. As for being super close, I can't say for sure. But we've been living in the end times since Jesus ascended.

Why would a Mod shut it down? Who's flaming? There is a disclaimer on the post. Besides, it has been highly discussed or eluded to about the Pope for a very long time. I didn't say I thought THE Pope was the Anti-Christ. I said could A Pope be since this has been a very accepted theory for a very long time.
Sorry if I offended you Matthan. The OP was not meant that way as it clearly states.
God Bless!
