I've been receiveing a whole bunch of blessings lately, i figure it could be fun for us all to talk about blessings that we have received recently.

I just received another a few minutes ago when i was thinking of starting up this thread.

I'm not boasting, maybe this is called rejoiceing in the blessings from the l_rd?

I've been haveing some headaches over some financial problems alot lately. I mean alot alot alot alot.

I've got a bunch of fines i owe to the state to get my drivers liscense back and i think its going to be over $1000.00 to get everything paid off and squared away so i can get my liscense back. A few months ago i was in an accident and got a ticket for driveing with a suspended liscense and i have to hire an attorney. Well, i already hired one. He says he can get it dropped if i pay everything off that i owe and get my drivers liscense and that sr22 thing.

I figure, no problem, i just need to win the lottery, or maybe i could stop feeding my family for a month...

so, a few days later, i cleaned out my vehicle and found a pile of old junk mail from my grandmothers house. I start going through it and some it i don't even open, and just toss in the trash. I mean, i know i never started any thing with the name of certain banks. I would know if i did.

I come across an old old letter, ok, so my car isn't the cleanest and tidiest of all, it for working and such too, so i guess it could be a work vehicle too, so i got mail from a few months ago, and now i'm going through it.

Some of them with like coffee stains and such on them. i guess old junk mail makes good floor board lining?

I open a letter from a company i don't work for anymore and just kinda browse through it and am about to trash it when that light bulb goes off and i reread it slowly, and then read it again. It reads that i have money with this company in some matched savings plan thing and that i have about 3,000 bux in it!

This letter is dated about 6 months ago, and it says that the money would be transx to an account if i don't respond to the letter by a certain date, which of course i did not. The money was transx to a bank that i never did business with before and of which i just threw a letter from them in the trash. I take the letter out, and yep, i have a some cash saved i forgot all about.

I'm in the process of getting that money to me now, when i get it, i'm legal again! ;)

Next, i just opened a letter from paying back my student loan. I'm paying about $400.00/ month into it and its killing me. I've been paying this for months and months and months and months and yep, a long time.

So i called them the other day, i asked for a statement to showing my balance and all; that stuff. I'm expecting to pay till March, but guess what, i just made my last full payment out of my last check!

Also, there was something else i was paying about 400 a month and that ends in a couple weeks!

$$$

Although, at this current moment in time i am pretty much broke, as i have been for the last.... few years, i just ran into another blessings a few minutes ago.

A guy was here working on a leak from the water main, and smelled gas. I called the gas company, they came out and said they were gonna have to shut my service off, then went into this big spill about haveing to hire a plumber, get a permit from the city, and just have to pay a whole bunch of money because i have a leak somewhere under the house. Anyrate, he ended up letting me just fix the leak myself, and is not gonna go the route of makeing me pay an arm and a leg. WEha!

I'll go and get a plumber a friend as soon as my wife gets back and relieves me of my baby sitting duties at the moment.

in case there are any city gas workers here, disregard this last part.

Praise the Lord. God is always good at handing out presents just when you start feeling like He does not love you any more, just to remind you of how much He really does.

God bless you Stone.

Ah, blessings - almost too many to count.

My father died in 2002 and there are still some little piddly accounts with his name on them. One never did give an amount - statements were vague - he owned shares, blah blah blah. So we (my brother and I) have not pursued this vigorously. But my brother's kids are buying and fixing houses and I get a letter and a check and the letter says the check represents $10K in the account. :jump up and down: So we're now on the phone, mail, fax to get the money so the kids have something to work with. We're trying to get everyone to get their mortgages paid off and this will really help!

Also, even though I gave some money away in 2006 and have a tiny income, my accounts are down only about 10% of what I gave. WOW! Abba Father gives so many good gifts! We cannot outgive Him.
