All Hebrews are Shemites, but not all Shemites are Hebrews. :)
You don't mean Shulamite do you?
If you do, she would be dressed in fine white linen. :) She is the Bride of Messiah :)

A bride in a beautiful garment. A long veil of linen embroidered with silk of brilliant colours.. Beneath this is a close fitting bonnet from which is suspended a specially valuable gold piece, coins and jewels forming part of her dowry. An early photograph.

I am unsure of the shullamit, but if she is like unto the Israeli brides of her time, they wore bright and beautifully decorated dresses, robes and veils and wore their dowry on their headdress and around their waist.
The guests wore white.
I"m trying to get as close to this as possible with my wedding, but "the guests wore white" is becoming next to impossible to convince my parents we can do... They say you can't dictate how the guests dress...
My dress is white and red since I couldn't convince my parents to let me get anything else and it fit my personality best... (I'm paying for it, but honor your parents..)
I'm mainly wearing white but all of my accents and accessories are scarlet red.
We'll see how the rest works out.. ;)

It's no problem, I understand.
You'd be suprised how many people whose mother tongue is English that has no idea what a dowry is. ;)
Yes, this is the reason they wear the coins on their headdress and usually also around their waist. :)
