As you all know, I'm Adiya. I'm the Chief Welcoming Angel here. I'm also a moderator for the Support Team.

I spent my last year as a 20-something in 2005, which means I'm 30 now! Good gravy! :P
I've been a CF member for about a year and a half now, and a moderator since May.
I live on the west coast, where we are currently flooded up to our ears with enough rain water to last a few life times. I'm a mommy. My son is Jeremiah, and he is in kindergarten. I'm a widow (that's a story for another time). I'm a cancer survivor x 2 months now. Praise God from whom all blessings flow.
I enjoy forums, cooking, cats, (no, not cooking cats... cooking AND cats ;) ) playing with my son, crocheting, sewing (I'm still learning to sew), playing online boardgames, (I'm addicted to scrabble, want to play?). I like classic films, classic rock, and classic tv shows. I'm just a classy classic kind of girl. :D

I love Jesus. :) I like to debate and discuss apologetics, politics, and pretty much anything else.

I'm 36, married, 2 daughters, a "less active" Marine and ummm I live in Missouri and work as a network adminstrator for a bank...no I don't get anywhere near the vault LOL!

I'm a full blooded geek, I enjoy anything that serves as a challenge on a computer, I love to cook and bake and totally love the holidays. Hubby is baptist, so we do all the holidays, the jewish feasts of the Torah for me and the Christian holidays for him...it seems we're always decorating for something or other LOL.

I do like to debate...though I have a tendency towards bluntness and plain-ness of speech that leaves me usually coming off as arrogant or rude...not intentional...it's just how I am heh...
Let's see...My oldest daughter is a Marine...(yeah, I'm just a *bit* proud of her!) my younger daughter is 8 and attends a Christian school and loves it...she loves the L-rd...and is a great kid!

Hubby is a truck driver so we see very little of each other these days, but with my promotion and schedule change that's about to change.

I'm Jane, and hopefully not as grim as my tacky screenname might suggest. I joined CF at some point in 2004, first visiting the Non-Christian Religion sub-forum but then quickly shifting to the General Apologetics-section, which I've frequented ever since on an almost daily basis.

As for my private life:
I'm 27 years old, study English Lit. and Finno-Ugrig languages at the University of Göttingen and plan to get married AND to receive my Master's degree next spring. My favourite pastime (apart from discussing spiritual matters on this board) is creative writing, and although I haven't fully indulged in this hobby for the last couple of years, I'd certainly like to become a professional author at some point in the future.

Hi there! Blake here, Support Team Coordinator and moderator of the same team. I joined CF back in January, and became a mod somewhere along the way. My favorite areas on CF are The Ancient Way, the blog area, Outreach[Struggles, Questions, Prayer Requests], Support Area, and occasionally Christian Advice. If you hang around those areas, chances are you've seen me, and... if you're a regular of the Chatbox and say you've never seen me around, I'll just plain not believe you! :D

My hobbies include writing of all kinds -- poetry, prose, devotionals, blogs, rants, scribbles, whatever. I love all things Orthodoxy, studying up on monasticism, askesis, theosis, metanoia, and other words you've probably never heard of -- ooh, but for those of you who know a thing or two about Orthodoxy, yesterday I became a catechumen! :)

Gwenyfur and I must be related, because I'm pretty geeky myself! I love making graphics, gaming from time to time,
wasting time coding Myspace, apologetics, sometimes even a little harmeunetics.

My favorite thing to do, well, I'd say that varies from time to time, but for the last month or so it's been attending my parish and marinating in the faith(not to mention smelling the incense and appreciating the grace and beauty of the icons). This December will mark 1 year for me as a Christian, which some people may be surprised to hear, but it's the truth and it's easy for me to notice sometimes. :D

Hi! I'm Livin4Christ, my real name is Heather. I'm 24 years old. I'm married and have been for 4 and a half years. We don't have any children although we are trying! I'm a SAHW for now. I enjoy being on CF, MySpace, I also enjoy latch hooking, singing, playing Clarinet, hanging out with my husband, movies, music, music and music. Christian music is my favorite. I love to cook and bake.
Right now we are in the process of packing because we just bought a house and are probably gonna be moving in next week.. hopefully! If the sellers get out when they said. While I don't have any children.. I have 4 niece's that we spoil rotton between the ages of 9 months and almost 9 years old. I am from Indiana, I am a member of a Nazarene church here.. I am in the computer ministry there.. I help my brother with powerpoint and stuff like that.. I'm also involved in a ministry that provides meals for other people in the church and community who need it after surgeries or having babies or other things. I was raised in a Christian home.. although I was saved on September 2, 2003.. hence the 9203 on my screen name.

Hi, I'm none the wiser :wave: I'm 20, a junior in college, majoring in biology, minoring in chemistry and a recent deconvert...some of you may have seen me around :) I immediately ended up in the debate area, and have hung around there ever since :D I want to be a nurse practitioner, specifically a midwife, and I'm DYING to get out of college so I can start my real schooling. lol

I hang out on the internet a lot, and as a result I'm a mod at another forum, have a blog, and met my boyfriend online :P Aside from mess around on the internet, I enjoy graphic design (though I'm not fantastic at it), reading, and a lil bit of writing stories, though again...not very good at it. I used to RP(/cowrite stories) a fair bit, but I don't have time anymore. School is hard man!! ^_^

Hi, I’m Glorianna, the CF Welcome Angel Ministry Coordinator (what a long title!). I’m also a senior moderator for the Ministry Team.

I’ve been a member here at CF for over two and a half years. It’s hard to believe that it’s been that long but a lot has definitely happened since then! I’ve been a moderator since June.

I was born in British Columbia, Canada. But I now live in South Carolina. The reason for this is that I met the man who is now my husband here on CF. I moved here in February and we got married on April 29, 2006. He got me a cat for my birthday (the end of June) since I was missing the one I left back in BC so much. And that’s my family! :)

I enjoy helping others in every single capacity imaginable, spending time on CF, reading, travelling, and playing PS2 and computer games with my husband.

Although I grew up in a Baptist church, I’ve also attended many other churches of different denominations – from Mennonite Brethren to United Methodist (the church that I’m at currently). So I don’t really think that I can be classified as one particular denomination. I accepted Jesus as my Lord and Savior with my grandmother there to help me when I was five years old.

After not being able to work for a couple of months due to immigration, I just got hired yesterday to work in an eye doctor’s office. I am so excited to start working there on Friday! One of the aspects that I’m most looking forward to is being trained to do vision therapy (similar to physical therapy but for the eyes). I want to go back to school to get a bachelor’s degree one day, but I’m not sure which bachelor’s degree I want yet so I’m putting this off a little bit.

My husband currently works at Target but is hoping to go back to school soon so that he can get his associate’s degree to work with computers. He has a lot of experience working with computers but it’s very hard to find a job here that doesn’t also require schooling.

Why did I want to become a part of the Welcoming Committee? Well, God has blessed me in huge ways through this website (the biggest blessing of all is my wonderful husband) and I love giving back to CF whenever and wherever I can.

Hello :wave: I'm Nat and I'm from the UK. My hubby and I live in the south of the UK...about 70 miles north of London. I'm an Angican and attend an Anglo-Catholic Church of England church in my town. I'm a bit of a computer geek and like to play computer games...especially Battlefield 2142. When I'm not playing that I'm usually on CF, or reading, or running, or something like that.

I'm often found in the womens discussion forum or STR (the Anglican denomination forum) though I really tend to wander all over the place. I'm always checking out the questions, struggles and prayer requests in the outreach section to see if there's anything I can help with...so that's my CF Angel area.

I'm angelkiss. Not much to tell bout lil ole me.........Hmm...well, I live in Kentucky and spend a lot of time taking care of 14 critters. I am truly a country gal. Actually, more on the tomboy side I guess you could say.....I like to fish, hunt, train wild animals, explore caves, even like to look for unique rocks, flint and arrowheads. And of course, I love spending time with family.
I am a poet and I have 135 poems written as of right now. I have been here at CF for a year Dec., and I love helping others and making a difference in someone's life.

My name is Stephen. I am 31 years old and single with no children.

I currently work as a general contractor. Back on September 22nd, I began to realize a longtime dream of going to College. I am working toward degrees in Electronics Engineering and Electromechanical Engineering.

I spend much of my time on The CF in the Mental health Forums. (I have been Alcohol and Drug free since December of 2005. I also have been dealing with Bipolar Disorder since I was 14 years old.)

I am honored to be a CF Chatbox Welcome Angel! Spending time here on the CF and meeting new friends in The Chatbox, have in no small way, affected my life. I nearly gave up on life last year and I haven't been happier since I found The Christian Forums.

Having been rather forward with all of you about who and where I am, I feel like this is exactly where I was meant to be. I'm Tammy, just turned 47, I've been a member here since April or May sometime. I have 2 grown daughters, the oldest is in the Air Force and lives in Cal.
My youngest is married and had blessed me with 2 grandsons, they live in RI.
I have 2 outdoor dogs, 4 indoor cats, 2 chinchilla's and 2 ferrets
I love CF and am completely addicted to the Forum and my friends here.
I hang out in the Fab 40's, BE, Site Supporter area's.
I have a Thread in Friendship Court, one in Deeper Fellowship, and one in the Chronic Pain.
I was a teacher for preschool and then kindergarten, then ended up on disabilty due to my health.
I did go back to school and received my Degree in Criminal Justice this April, with a 3.9 GPA
I loved being outdoors and my hobbies have ranged from racing motorcross, to barrell racing horses, to racing Hobie Cats, and speed skating.
Then I was ordered to slow down and to no longer ride.
So now I love being outside when I can as we live on a nice 6 acre area off the beaten path.
And when not on line I'm reading or watching movies.
I just had a major surgery on Monday and have been online today for the first time, but after an hour 1/2 I need to lay down and rest more...thank You God for laptops.
I also run two Yahoo Groups and a National Survivor's Web Site, and am a childrens advocate for CASA.
I was born in RI, grew up in Cal. Met my wonderful hubby online in '94, in person in '98 and been together ever since
