I don't remember what team it was to be honest as I really don't knw much about them. I just did an einie meanine miny moe. I figured if they had a need somewhere they would just ask me if I was interested in such and such. Obviously they don't really have much of a need or they don't want me or they are really busy because i still haven't heard.

I just figured I would try and be helpful. I am sorry you didn't have good luck wit the process Redneck. If you didn't get in I am sure i won't either. You seem pretty cool.

No I am sure that the people are working as hard and fast as they can, I just had no idea that there would not even be a hey we are looking at it now kinda response. The last time I applied they got back to me within an hour or so. Perhaps it was because a couple of mods had recommended me?

If they have a lot of apps, or if the team is busy it can take a while. They usually give it some time to make sure that all the team members get a chance to look at the apps and put in their 2c. Then they will interview you and let people take a look before they come to a final decision.

Perhaps you could pm a staff member and see how it is going. I never minded hearing from applicants when they were waiting for an outcome.

Good idea, but I think I will just let the folks there alone for now. While I am sure you didn't mind, I think I will show some restraint and let them work it out for themselves. I am not one to push, if they want to take their time, or they don't really need me for now, I will juat let it lie.

I suspect it is not that you are not needed - it is a slow process, so it is probably more that they are still looking at your application. In the general scheme of things I wouldn't expect that you would hear anything for at least a week or two.

I believe both Bud and Redneck would be excellent mods. It takes some time Bud be patient. You can count on my advocacy for your application. I actually would hope that you requested our team, we could use you and I think you would provide significant insight. My prayers are with you.

As i said buddy, I do not know which team it was, I didn't have any specific in mind, I just figured they could and would just stick me anywhere needed :) But, yeah i will be patient, but if Redneck doesn't get in i doubt if they will want me either.
