as for what needed to be changed I think it would be great to clean up the abandoned angels (we've already discussed that there) and adding the pets created since the last list update to the watchlists....

someone in the main forum said she's working on a pet inventory...maybe that could be used to make sure we have every pet looked after....and then we might have to check if there have been new pets created once a month and add them....shouldn't be too difficult since you would just have to continue from the last pet number :)

Yes you are right. this private forum is now for our team only to discuss different things and not which pet has been adopted. We use to save all the reports to one time a month which you sent me a report of which pets you adopted to who so we would not have all the extra posts... That way one person could total everything and I recorded it in my blog for everyone to see what has been done the previous month... It was working great until we started slacking off on reprts given to me and i had to try find them on my own which was impossible for me to do...

Who is our Team Leader?
The only one I have seen with any regularity

I tend to do most of my work from my main account, just using this one to house a foster pet. My ravenscape account has some special access for doing armory work, and things come to a grinding halt when I'm logged on to this account.

It makes no difference to me whether a CFPR or CFFA is in leadership as long as the responsibilities are maintained... Renuka is doing a GREAT job...:thumbsup:

I think someone on the CFPR/CFFA staff ought to have the power to put the abandoned pets up for adoption. If a pet owner has not been online in 30 days they ought to lose pet privaledges if they abondoned their pet when they left. This should be clearly stated/announced. I believe the current policy, as I understand it, is to leave the pets in the hands of irresponsible pet owners. This is a mistake as I see it.

If the above is implemented all the CFPR/CFFA staff should be made aware and given a thread link to report abandoned pets.

That's my .02 for now...

This is great... Happy to see all the discussions going on. Yes please keep letting us all know what you expect and/or want from our team...

Few have pm'd me with thoughts about what is expected from who.... This needs to be discussed also. Some rescuers/angels want to be active on team but are not able to be on everyday... to me this is fine... I can not log on everyday either... But I think we need to change the teams around a little for the ones who want to be more active and the ones that dont want to be... with the new icon giving access to this forum it gives us easier control of who comes and who doesn't. I don't think it matters if you are rescuer or angel at this point because with everyone, life changes and so does computer time....

I really appreciate the CF Pet Rescuers, because I ALWAYS forget to feed my poor chicky. In Real Life, though, my little puppy is never hungry. :)

In the adoptable pets sticky, if you posted more than once, the Dr. asked me to clean that up - so I combined the posts if you had more than one. If for some reason you are unable to edit your own post, send me a PM and I'll fix it for you.

That is why he created a way for us to feed the pets So we have our answer and I really dont want to bug him again about it.... it is our job to try our best not to let it die... If an owner pm's you asking you to allow the pet to die, that is when I usually pm back asking in a nice way why?? can we please adopt the pet or something like that... We also have a few pet owners that do not want our help.... ( we have a new thread of pets not to feed) we must abide by their wishes... however that does not mean we can not check up on the pet and see how long the owner has not been on.... when a pet is almost dead they automactically are not with the owner but it says they are in daycare... but they are only in between life and death... Not sure when it happens or if was a bug... In these situations I think we should step in a feed the pet enough till it is back with the owner and if the owner has not been on then watch the pet closer until owner comes back or can be placed on abandon list... *LD*

when a person creates a pet cn't he/she sign an understanding that his/ her pet will not die / will be fed regularly or they will pay a fine of ......blessings

Don`t matter for me.I only care for my pets:blush: I don`t know what purpose the team have.When the team starte that was ro collect the pets and I think that even number have got the even pets was a good idea.Why? When I see a pet with a number I say Ok that belongs to team hope if that is a even number and then I can go and look for the pet and maybe see if that person that is a rescure or angel need some help.On that case this help me to be more effective in my work:blush: :)

I going to have a diffucult time when we must let the pets go (My abnom..pets I really like. Now I have had them nearly all time I have been a angel:) ) but I agree that we can`t feed them for ever either
