View Full Version : Vote for morals? Whose Morals? Read what God considers evil before voting

Pro 6:16 These six Jehovah hates; yea, seven are hateful to his soul:
a proud look
a lying tongue
hands that shed innocent blood
a heart that plots wicked plans
feet hurrying to run to evil
a false witness who speaks lies
and he who causes fighting among brothers.
Seems to be some confusion in Christianity today as to what is moral and not. I though I would bring everyone into remembrance so they can be assured of following God's morality rather than some preacher who leads you astray with wrong teaching.
God bless!

If you think you are voting for someone good and moral to lead the country...then welcome to the US...because you MUST be new. :P Our political system is corrupt through and through...It's become a question of who is the "lesser evil?" Do you vote for the liar or the cheat?

Maybe he meant vote according to God's standards not according to political party

Thank you for the welcome. :)
I am from a different planet. I'm from a place where scripture of our Lord Jesus is King and where God controls the universe. I don't have to choose between lesser evils. I don't suspect Jesus would either. Evil is evil just as a sin is a sin. I let God run the show. My vote is not needed for the election to work out as God knows it will. Your vote isn't needed either so I urge you to follow the teachings of Jesus and become dead to the world.
God bless.

Rather you didn't get yourself involved in the political mess as scripture recommends, but it's your choice not mine. If you do vote, please do vote to God's standards.
God Bless. I really LOVE the scripture you chose (2 Pet 1:5) Good choice!
Best wishes,
Marke

HI Marke :)
I vote for the person who believes closest to what the word of God teaches, according to His standards. And we all need to pray I think.
Thanks about the verses. I think they are very important
God bless

Hey, we all know what the Bible says. Almost every pastor preaches it.
John 3:16
And God said, "Vote Republican."

I'm sorry Ronnie, but you've got that wrong.
It's John 3:19. The condemnation is they chose the evil of the world instead of the light of the world.
John 3:16 is the gift they refused.
God Bless.
