Are those you plan to vote for following these paths?

Better not to vote than support things God hates wouldn't you think?

Heh...I mostly voted straight Democrat, though I did vote for one Republican.

Unfortunately no, I did not vote for people who obey these most important commandments in the letter to the Romans. If I vote Republican, I am supporting a party that loves war and hates the poor. If I vote Democrat, I am voting for a party that murders unborn human beings. There doesn't seem to be any obvious "right" choice here.

I keep forgetting that exaggerated speech doesn't carry over into the written word. While I do think that the Republicans have a failing foreign and social policy, I don't think that they actually hate poor people. And of course I don't think that the Democratic party is murderous either.

Incidentally, I know you live in a different district than me, but you can probably guess which Republican I voted for.

The right choice is to follow the teachings of the New Testament, don't vote at all. We are Christians first who just happen to live in America. The election will come out exactly as God pleases with or without your vote.

God Bless.

You've had six years of actions to come to the truth.

The war was a fabrication. Every premise that was used to justify the war has now been found to be a fabrication (ie lie) to mislead people and cause people to fear so "W" could show his Daddy he could do it better.

There is no surmising anymore. It's historical record. The minimum wage has not been raised in 12 years. Social program to help the poor have been cancelled to funnel money to fund this immoral war. The poor in this country have increased, not decreased.

Facts are facts whether you care to face them or not. Don't let your fear outweigh your faith.

God Bless.

Just remember that you will be held accountable by God for what you post here. In other words I would think twice before claiming people like Bush who is a Christian has been lying. Also democrats had access to the same data that republicans did and democrats still favored the war. Many favored it even a year later. It is more recently that the tide has changed and history is already being rewritten.

Using that logic I shouldn't witness to unbelievers since things will happen just as God pleases anyways..

While I ultimately disagree with this, it is a respectable opinion. Also, you've more or less outlined my problems with the Republican party.

Yup, to bad he still loss. :sigh:

Indeed. Alan Fine was both a Republican and pro-choice, which is two strikes against him in my book, and yet I still preferred him over his opponent. As my mom told me the other day, "don't vote for Keith Ellison, or the police will come and put me in a burqa!" I am terribly concerned that there is now a Muslim in the House of Representatives.

Well I think it is very possible that in our lifetime we'll live in a society that is much more hostile to fundamental Christianity. I know people may just think I'm an alarmist but many countries have been like this for a long time and other countries are becoming that way. We must always rejoice even if we see some real persecution and understand that God did give us our leaders. That doesn't mean we are not responsible as a nation for bringing unrighteous leaders into power. Just look at the O.T. for countless examples.

Thank you for the reminder reagarding my soul. I appreciate it.

Fortunately, the dictatorship of the republicans is over and investigations seeking the truth will begin.

You might want to google "The downing street papers".

It's Cheney's secret energy commission I can't wait to be revealed.

I'm not a big Cheney fan. He has had a potty mouth and we all know out of the mouth comes what is in the heart. That being said we should still show respect even when we disagree. We should also be careful not to believe all the conspiracy theories that are out there.

That's what I think. That's what I know. Trust in God and be saved.
