Hello. I am planning a debate on Denominations in the Church, and I was wondering if anyone would like to join. I would like to have three people on either side, and I would be the "moderator", so to speak: I would not post any evidence for anything, or anything but "It's *insert name here*'s turn to post" or "Keep it formal", things like that. I would like to have:

Two-Three people who are pro-denominational (they are a particular denomination themselves, or they think we should have denominations)

Two-Three people who are anti-denominational (they are just non-denominational or just Christian, and the think we should not have denominations)

Anyone interested? To join just post "Joining-- *insert pro-denominational or anti-denominational here*"

The first six to post will be the ones in the actual debate.

No denominations would be great, but we would just form an anti-denominational denomination. Useless.
Also, denominations are a great way to categorize worship styles. If only that were all they were...
So the denominations don't need to be stirred back together, just reconciled. I guess that puts me on the pro-denominations side.
However, I think everyone understands that first statement (of mine), and no one will expect to gain anything by joining the anti-denomination side.

Joining: pro-denominational.
