Touchy topic. Lots of controversy about the name "Lucifer" at all actually. Many say that the name when used in scripture (Isaiah 14:12-15 (http://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=Isaiah 14:12-15))doesn't correspond to Satan at all, but the king of Babylon. In reference to the common usage of them both representing the Advesary, I would say yes, but that doesn't make it 100% true. Does that help at all?

Yes. Lucifer is Latin, which means "Morning Star". Lucifer is also the fallen angel from Heaven which of whom is commonly referred to as Satan.

Yeah, it's been said already but they are one and the same. Satan goes by many names: the Adversary, the accuser, old serpent, the prince of this world, the tempter, and so on. God Bless.
