Update on Stinky Pete...

I think I have located the owner of Stinky Pete as he was in my care...

It is a member called loudmouthchristian

She told me she was considering selling her pet and her pet is not in day care whereas the other two members who contacted me has their pets in day care or still has ownership. Provided you cannot destroy a pet...this is the gal.

I have contacted her and asked her kindly to reduce the price as he is not likely to sell for 3777. and most likely will be deleted at the end of the month. This was appropriate as she had asked me how much I should sell her pet for. I had told her between 200 and 500 blessings. Perhaps she did not get my PM?

I have told her that I will try to place Pete pronto if she would accept 500.

If she agrees -- I hope we can work together to save Pete and find him someone prior to the end of the month.

Sorry but once the pet is placed up for adoption and price is set the owner can not reduce the price... it is out of their hands.... (unless something has changed recently??)

Is it possible for the owner who put him in the center for so much to readopt him herself? Then maybe she could place him back in at a different price? Or will that not work?

nope...you can't adopt the pet you have placed in adoption center :(

the only way to solve that problem would be her giving you the price difference and you adopting Stinky Pete and either putting him up for the new price or trying to find a new home for him by taking care of him...

but someone has to pay the blessings :(

or you could adopt him and she gives you back the blessings (except for the new price you agreed on) :)

but she can't get him out of adoption center again and she can't reduce the price once the pet is there....

hope you find a way to save the poor pet....

Okay...loudmouthchristian contacted me and she feels soooooo terrible and didn't know. She doesn't want Pete to get deleted...and will take 500 blessings now...but she can't change it back. :(:(

The problem is if we have a pet then we can't buy one without abandoning our own...

Is this right?? :(:(...so we need someone without a pet to buy him and then for loudmouthchristian to return 3277 blessings to that person...

This is all I can think to do.

But don't we forfeit our own pet if we buy another one? The rules I read stated we can not own two pets...and I read somewhere where a person lost their own pet or something like this (it ended up for adoption I think??)...

Luke is old and likewise I wouldn't want him anywhere but with a good home and little Blue who I adopted --I'm overly fond of (lol) and wouldn't want to loose him.

I talked to another member I know who I think will be willing to work with loudmouthchristian on adopting StinkyPete...then she would probably work with us on finding him a permanent home (unless loudmouthchristian wants him back?) but I just need to wait on loudmouthchristian's reply and the other member to reply...so we'll see.

You can have two pets as long as you put one in daycare before the other comes out of daycare. If you have a pet when your other pet comes out of daycare, the one coming out goes automatically up for adoption for 500 blessings.

Raven...how long can we place a pet in day care then as we risk loosing our own pets then and can not adopt them back (at least I thought I read we can't adopt a pet back once putting it up for adoption).
