General questions about the Salvation Army

So I don't know anything about the SA. I know you do a lot of charity work, and your Pastors wear uniforms (so does everyone else?), but beyond that, I don't know anything.

Can you direct me to a link, or a former thread, or just post a few basics about your beliefs and how they may differ from other Christian denominations?
