I can't believe this hasn't been announced here. Bishop Kallistos Ware is speaking tonight at St Sophia cathedral in Washington, DC tonight.

Husband says he'll try to make it home in time for me to go. Looking forward to it!

Oh darn it!!! I wish I had known. I saw him in August and he's an amazing speaker. You should go, even if you would be a bit late. Now, no cracking up over his absolutely LOVELY British accent.
If you go, please tell us about what he spoke about. I suggest bring a little notepad. I didn't and I ended up taking notes on my PDA (with a tiny keyboard) just because I wanted to remember things he said.

Kami: Do you know if it will be recorded and played back anywhere? I hear these speakers on AFR sometimes who were recorded in different places all over the country (and Bishop KALLISTOS is one of them).

I wonder if I could e-mail the church to see? I always enjoy hearing him speak.

www.oevents.com has a bit more but still says nothing about recordings or who is hosting this.
