Could you reference what you are talking about?

I did a quick Google to see what I could find but the only thing I found was that supposedly Rev. Moon gave a financial contribution to Liberty University back in the 1990's. From reading the website it seems like a conspiracy theory type of agenda and not very reliable.

In the 1990's Liberty was under great financial strain and was able to come out of it thanks to some very generous Christian business men and old people along with administrators as former Vice President Dr. Borek.

I attended Liberty for four years and not once did I ever hear Dr. Falwell support Rev. Moon. Liberty proclaims one Christ, the Lord Jesus of the Bible and none other. In fact we have a large Korean population in our seminary, Liberty Theological Seminary, who are led and mentored by Dr. Kim so that they can return to not only Korea but the greater part of Asia so as to proclaim the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

So I would check out whatever accusations you may have heard or read of to make sure they are true

Blessings,

Justin

Hey bro, keep this in mind when you apply, Dont think I am personally slamming LU, Im not, but LU will always carry the stigma of Falwell. Whether or not you like him, Falwell is not always a respected person in the Theological Community. Keep that in mind.

I concur. Although I believe Dr. Falwell is a good man and has a great heart for young people, too often he finds himself with his foot in his mouth and it reflects on the university.

Keep in mind there would not be a LU without Jerry Falwell.

Jerry Falwell has more support in Theological circles than any opposition there is out there in conservative circles. If you include the liberals then that statement would be true.

Gordon.

Who are the ones not respecting him? It would be nice to know the ones you refer to as his detractors.
