You do not have access to all the Bible. All you have is Romans Chapters 12-16

You are looking for the Revealed Will of God
Starting with Chapter 12

(I will start and list in sequence the verses and state the Revealed will in your own words - not quotes form other books or letters just from these Chapters)

I will go first:

Romans 12:1. Therefore I urge you, brethren, by the mercies of God, to present your bodies a living and holy sacrifice, acceptable to God, {which is} your spiritual service of worship.

2. And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may prove what the will of God is, that which is good and acceptable and perfect.

(1) present my body as a living sacrifice this is what God wants and it is reasonable too

(2) Don’t be like the world that way I can prove what the will of God is - Yes I can know the Good will, Acceptable Will and Perfect Will of God

That is powerful I can know the Perfect, acceptable will of God. How? Where?

You answer those question two verses at a time between the end of verse 2 and the last verse of chapter 16.

Those of you aspiring to go to Bible College and become missionaries and pastors / This will be a good test to see where you are headed.

Jump right in. It is for everyone so don’t shy back.

Do you teach Sunday School? Bible Classes here and there?

Can you believe it we can know the perfect will of God form Scripture.

No more wondering about the perfect will of God we can know it - it is in the Book.

Praise God from on High His Name is Wonderful.

OK I stop.

Beginning in chapter 12 Paul moves from the doctrinal teaching to the practical use of that teaching and always in the context of the Gospel of Christ. When he says "I beseech you therefore" it ties into what he has said before. Not just the end of chapter 11 but all of what he had taught from chapter one. This is a common practice by Paul in his pastoral epistles. The key is " by the mercies of God". Paul is teaching us what it is to be a believer in Christ. The Gospel is a humbling truth and he begins a long list of practical truths with verse 3 speaking to those who are placed by Christ in the body as He will. Seeing we all are no more than sinners saved by the grace of God we ought never to consider ourselves higher than a servant to those who are our brothers and sisters. We are given a place to serve that is no better than another's.

Thanks for getting this off the ground. Some threads are more attractive for discussion than others. Perhaps others will join in and move to the next verse and comment.

Thanks

Therefore I urge you, brethren, by the mercies of God, to present your bodies a living and holy sacrifice, acceptable to God, which is your spiritual service of worship. And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may prove what the will of God is, that which is good and acceptable and perfect.
For through the grace given to me I say to everyone among you not to think more highly of himself than he ought to think;
but to think so as to have sound judgment,
as God has allotted to each a measure of faith. 4. For just as we have many members in one body and all the members do not have the same function, 5. so we, who are many, are one body in Christ, and individually members one of another. 6. Since we have gifts that differ according to the grace given to us,
each of us is to exercise them accordingly: if prophecy, according to the proportion of his faith; 7. if service, in his serving; or he who teaches, in his teaching; 8. or he who exhorts, in his exhortation; he who gives, with liberality; he who leads, with diligence; he who shows mercy, with cheerfulness. 9.
Let love be without hypocrisy.
Abhor what is evil;
ling to what is good. 10.
Be devoted to one another in brotherly love;
give preference to one another in honor; 11.
not lagging behind in diligence,
fervent in spirit, serving the Lord; 12.
rejoicing in hope,
persevering in tribulation,
devoted to prayer, 13.
contributing to the needs of the saints,
practicing hospitality. 14.
Bless those who persecute you;
bless and do not curse. 15.
Rejoice with those who rejoice, and
weep with those who weep. 16.
Be of the same mind toward one another;
do not be haughty in mind, but
associate with the lowly.
Do not be wise in your own estimation. 17.
Never pay back evil for evil to anyone.
Respect what is right in the sight of all men. 18.
If possible, so far as it depends on you, be at peace with all men. 19.
Never take your own revenge, beloved, but
leave room for the wrath {of God,} for it is written, "VENGEANCE IS MINE, I WILL REPAY," says the Lord. 20. "BUT IF YOUR ENEMY IS HUNGRY, FEED HIM, AND IF HE IS THIRSTY, GIVE HIM A DRINK; FOR IN SO DOING YOU WILL HEAP BURNING COALS ON HIS HEAD."
21.
Do not be overcome by evil, but
overcome evil with good.
The Perfect Will of God in Red found in chapter 12 what else is listed in the rest of Romans Chapter 13-15?

Would agree with me that knowing the Perfect Will of God is easy to know because it is so simply revealed in the Word?

A thought - Why then do so many of us wonder what God's will is?

Someone approaches you and ask you to pray for them concerning the will of God.

Granted the individual providential will is not written but in a sense it is written isn't it.

If we follow the Perfect Will of God as revealed then our desires are in tune with God's desire - this is what I believe God is telling me and has been all my Christian life.

If I am in the "Center of His Will" Romans says Perfect Will and that Perfect will is his revealed will then all the other unknown things should fall in place.

All choices about the un-know will in my life that is not spelled out is controlled by my obedience to the Reveled will or we can say the Perfect revealed will.

That being the case when it comes time to decide on a non-revealed situation - that situation is controlled by my submission to the Perfect Will as outlined in Scripture.

What are your thoughts?

God Bless

Since the responses I gave earlier were incorrect, and since I'm so wrong on this particular subject, I deleted my previous posts. Being as such, I'll just apologize for my shortcomings and bow out gracefully.

I'll not bother to post in here again, I'm outta here.
