And I was watching much music on TV( I know, I really shouldn't ). While I was watching though, this video came on (it's about 10 years old, no kidding) called : "Bloodhound Gang - The Bad Touch"

I remembered seeing it a long time ago, but I forgot completely about untill I saw it again on much.

Anyway, i'm kind of thinking this video might be evident for the bad fruits of evolutionary biology, the lyrics are :

Ha-ha, well now, we call this the act of mating
But there are several other
Very important differences
Between human beings and animals
That you should know about
I'd appreciate your input
Sweat baby, sweat baby
Sex is a Texas drought
Me and you do the kind of stuff
That only Prince would sing about
So put your hands down my pants
And I bet you'll feel nuts
Yes I'm Siskel, yes I'm Ebert
And you're getting two thumbs up
You've had enough of two-hand touch
You want it rough, you're out of bounds
I want you smothered, want you covered
Like my Waffle House hashbrowns
Comin' quicker than Fed Ex
Never reach an apex
Just like coca-cola stock
You are inclined to make me rise an hour early
Just like daylight savings time
Do it now
You and me baby ain't nothin' but mammals
So let''s do it like they do on the Discovery Channel
Do it again now
You and me baby ain't nothin' but mammals
So let's do it like they do on the Discovery Channel
Gettin' horny now
Love the kind, you clean up
With a mop and bucket
Like the lost catacombs of Egypt
Only God knows where we stuck it
Hieroglyphics? Let me be Pacific
I wanna go down in your South Seas
But I got this notion
That the motion of your ocean means
"Small Craft Advisory"
So if I capsize on your thighs
High tide B-5 you sunk my battleship
Please turn me on
I'm Mr. Coffee
With an automatic drip
So show me yours, I'll show you mine
"Tool Time"
You'll Lovelett just like Lyle
And then we'll do it doggy style
So we can both watch "X-Files"
You and me baby ain't nothin' but mammals
So let''s do it like they do on the Discovery Channel
Do it again now
You and me baby ain't nothin' but mammals
So let's do it like they do on the Discovery Channel
Gettin' horny now
You and me baby ain't nothin' but mammals
So let''s do it like they do on the Discovery Channel
Do it again now
You and me baby ain't nothin' but mammals
So let's do it like they do on the Discovery Channel
Gettin' horny now
You and me baby ain't nothin' but mammals
So let''s do it like they do on the Discovery Channel
Do it again now
You and me baby ain't nothin' but mammals
So let's do it like they do on the Discovery Channel
Gettin' horny now

Atheists think morals are relative to society and culture in which they live in, but we take the position of moral absolutism, the morals in the bible are the morals for all ages.

Also, there was alot of lusting going on in the video, and obsene acts... If you guys have seen it you would know what i'm talking about..

OK Richard, I have two questions for you, and neither has to do with evolutionary biology. First, why do you think that you shouldn't be listening to music? Second, if you think that it's wrong, why do you do this anyway? It says:
And he that doubteth is damned if he eat, because he eateth not of faith: for whatsoever is not of faith is sin. (Romans 14:23, and yes, it's KJV)
Now, by no means do I feel qualified to stand on a soapbox. Every one of us struggles with doing things that we feel we ought not to do. Even the Apostle Paul described his battle against the flesh in the epistle to the Romans. But there's at least two possibilites here: either listening to music is really ungodly and your conscience serves you well, or you've been falsely taught that secular music is evil, and you feel guilty that the persons who taught you this will find out.

Just something to consider, I think.

Hi RichardT,

Would you mind removing the lyrics of the song from your post? They sort of bother me, so I'm asking you to do it. I would have PM'd about this, but I can figure it out, lately. Anyway, thanks.

such bands and stations have lost my business for playing such junk. The world understands dollars, so express your opinions by not givin them any.

It's a rather raunchy song about promiscuous sex, but I don't really understand what it has to do with evolutionary biology. I also don't understand how time can move so fast! I had BHG's One Fierce Beer Coaster when it came out, and that is older than this...I'm old:(

So you view this song as evidence for the bad fruits of evolutionary biology because of that line?

I think it's a dumb song, but to look at it as evidence of anything is a bit of a stretch I think.

Not all secular music is bad. If any music goes against the principles God has then IMO we (christians) shouldn't be listening to it. Songs like you posted shouldn't be on a christian's *listen to* list.

I agree with this. The song listed is definitely not a good song to listen to. That's the main reason I have never really listened to secular rock/pop music. I realize that not all of these songs are bad, but many are, and I just like to stay away from songs like that.

I listen to country sometimes, but stick to Christian music mostly.

Yeah as I also listen to
The Oldies as well as Jazz and classical
Nothing really rap or heavy metal as I can't
Stand that stuff at all!
Need to really listen to more Christian though!

I've never liked rap a whole lot, Christian or secular. I like DC Talk, though. That's the only exception.

I like oldies too. I have a buncxh of those songs on CD.

If you like oldies, here's something that will amaze you. I used to sing in a concert ministry called Concert for Christ. The founder of that ministry was Tom. (won't give last name). He was in his 60s when he died about 3 years ago. When he was a young man back in the 50s, he used to sing with stars like Jerry Lee Lewis, the Drifters, the Platters, Eddie Arnold, & Hopalong Cassidy. He used to do those old songs for special birthday parties. He had original performance tracks of a lot of those songs on reel-to-reel tapes. Of course, when he gave his life to Jesus, he turned away from all that and started singing gospel music.
