1. And you were dead in your trespasses and sins, 2. in which you formerly walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, of the spirit that is now working in the sons of disobedience. 3. Among them we too all formerly lived in the lusts of our flesh, indulging the desires of the flesh and of the mind, and were by nature children of wrath, even as the rest. 4. But God, being rich in mercy, because of His great love with which He loved us, 5. even when we were dead in our transgressions, made us alive together with Christ (by grace you have been saved), 6. and raised us up with Him, and seated us with Him in the heavenly {places} in Christ Jesus, 7. so that in the ages to come He might show the surpassing riches of His grace in kindness toward us in Christ Jesus. 8. For by grace you have been saved through faith; and that not of yourselves, {salvation is} the gift of God; 9. not as a result of works, so that no one may boast. 10. For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand so that we would walk in them.
Romans 5: 20. The Law came in so that the transgression would increase; but where sin increased, grace abounded all the more, 21. so that, as sin reigned in death, even so grace would reign through righteousness to eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.
Romans 6:6. knowing this, that our old self was crucified with {Him,} in order that our body of sin might be done away with, so that we would no longer be slaves to sin;
7. for he who has died is freed from sin. 11. Even so consider yourselves to be dead to sin, but alive to God in Christ Jesus. 22. But now having been freed from sin and enslaved to God, you derive your benefit, resulting in sanctification, and the outcome, eternal life.23. For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Romans 8: 10. If Christ is in you, though the body is dead because of sin, yet the spirit is alive because of righteousness.
II Corinthians 5: 19. namely, that God was in Christ reconciling the world to Himself, not counting their trespasses against them, and He has committed to us the word of reconciliation.
I Corinthians 15:56. The sting of death is sin, and the power of sin is the law;
57. but thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.

Galatians 3:22. But the Scripture has shut up everyone under sin, so that the promise by faith in Jesus Christ might be given to those who believe
Ephesians 1: 19. namely, that God was in Christ reconciling the world to Himself, not counting their trespasses against them, and He has committed to us the word of reconciliation.

10 He was in the world, and though the world was made through him, the world did not recognize him. 11 He came to that which was his own, but his own did not receive him. 12 Yet to all who received him, to those who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God— 13 children born not of natural descent,c (http://www.christianforums.com/t3890547-cured-biblical-acronym-non-calvinist-non-armenian.html#_ftn2) nor of human decision or a husband’s will, but born of God.

If it is non-Arminian it is funny how much it resembles the points of the Remonstrances. Which, by the way were rejected as heresy.

I love you my brother - where else could to Christians call each other believers in heresy.

Only in America, you a heretic, me a heretic, them a heretic. Who will stone us? We are all heretics of one kind or the other.

I like my version of truth.

It 100 percent agrees with the Bible. Where does that leave everyone else?

I love you my brother - where else could to Christians call each other believers in heresy. While I do respect your intelligence and zeal I do not believe I could extend to you the right hand of fellowship. We are just too far apart on what we believe to be truth.

Only in America, you a heretic, me a heretic, them a heretic. Who will stone us? We are all heretics of one kind or the other. By your definition yes.

I like my version of truth. I don't. It is a version of truth and not truth. Truth has no versions.

It 100 percent agrees with the Bible. Where does that leave everyone else? That is certainly arguable and I am sure it will be argued.

CURED
Reborn. I didn't need a cure I needed to be a new creature. The old man doesn't need to be taken to the hospital to be cured but to the cross to be crucified.

Dog is barking to get in. He generally gets me up to go potty. Time to go back to bed.

I have always loved the invitational song "Softly and Tenderly Jesus is Calling"

There is a deep abiding love in the hearts of the Elect. I know I am Elect. Regardless of the definition we place on our understanding The Elect are for sure the only ones going to be with Christ.

I deeply see and hold to my understanding as Biblical and I know you do the same. It is good that we can disagree and hopefully still have fellowship.

I am so glad I am not on either side JC or JA what a comfort in my heart that I am not bound by men and can wholly trust in Jesus name.

God Bless my Friend

If you are having a hard time sleeping here is a good station to hook up to on the computer. Good conservative music none stop

Could I just point something out that has really been bugging for a while (and lots of people do this, so don't take my irritation personally :D):

ArmEnians come from the country of Armenia (see the flag) http://cdn.aol.com/netfind/gr/flags/w15_armenia.gif (http://aolsearch.aol.com/aol/redir?src=efind&errorFlag=0&searchType=TTF&requestId=b0d24bff4774d0fd&clickedItemRank=1&userQuery=armenia&clickedItemURN=http%3A%2F%2Fwww%2Eaolsvc%2Eworldbook%2Eaol%2Ecom%2Fwb%2FArticle%3Fid%3Dar030720&area=itz0014y109rl1)

ArmInians, on the other hand, are the religious group.

Okay, I'm off my soap box now--I just had to say it.

As for the CURED, it looks like ArmInianism to me. How are they different?

I have gone back to grab an old post of mine and it never fails that I have to edit it again for a spelling mistake.

Men were created to speak but taught to write and spell. I would bet, if I did such, that if we all got together and just talked a bit, we would be shocked at how our perceptions of each other are off a mile or two.

One of the many comments my professors graced me with in my years in school was related to spelling. I take no offence.

I can blame some of it on typing can't I? For some reason when I want to type no it comes out not and several other words that are recently plaguing me.

I learned a long time ago that there are some of us that just are terrible spellers.

A pastor of mine who had 100 degrees (hyperbole) could not spell. He took me in his office when I was in my late 20s - 59 on the 13th - and showed me a large list of words he could not spell and that he had memorized over and over.

I thought if this person could do it so can I. The rest is history. I spell better when I type too. So you don’t want to even read my hand writing. Doctors have nothing on me in that category.

God Bless

The Color of the flag is enough to turn people away from Armenianism or is it Arminianism?

But on the other hand the Calvinist flag might be - no it has to be worse. Is it Calvenist or Calvinist? OK it is "i".
I think it might be all Black which would make the Armenian flag much better.

An extemely intelligent person can appear to be less than intelligent by how they spell and their use of grammar. For some people who are very particular in spelling and grammar it does cause difficulty in getting past the poor spelling and grammar to what the person is saying. Some of us, I am speaking about myself, sometimes us it to demean and that is wrong. I don't think that is what you were doing. :)

Now Look Here - don't you all start crying elephant tears all of a sudden. We might have to have an old fashion alter call and see if anyone's free will is working. There I go using that word work again.

Beside all that - nothing worse than a converted Calvinist - a lot like a converted Catholic when they are converted they go hog wild.

That should get things back on track.

Don't get ill Gordon. It is not Calvin, but God who chose us to be His children, though we were undeserving, that we love. Calvanism is just a word that helps us express to others what He did for us.
