Our heart goes out to the Amish Community in Pennsylvania as they grieve the lost of their children. A fate that no community deserves and our own heart cries out, "Why God?"
I am reminded of Menno Simons memorable words: ""If all the lords and princes and their subjects who boast of the name of Jesus Christ would acknowledge the doctrine of Jesus Christ to be right and true, and live according to the life and spirit of Christ, it would not be necessary to fortify cities, and towns or to keep cavalry and infantry, nor to manufacture deadly weapons such as guns, swords, and spears. The words of the prophet would then be for filled, ‘They shall beat their swords into ploughshares and their spears into pruning hooks; they shall learn war no more’ " Menno Simons 1539
