I've been asking this question on different forums...what are your thoughts on "The Orthodox New Testament" by Apostles Convent, Dormition Skete?

I have not seen it. I like The Orthodox Study Bible. (New Testament and Psalms.)

Sounds intriguing. I could use my $30 credit at amazon on it.

Anyone know who the "Genuine Orthodox Christians of Greece" are?

Yep. Schismatic. Boy, that site gave me a headache. I had no idea there were so many noncanonical groups.

I'm still waiting. It takes 4 - 6 weeks. I also ordered the book that Fr. Seraphim Rose wrote that deals with toll houses, I forget the name. Hoping soon. I have had a bit of  correspondence with a nun from the Convent, very Orthodox in teaching.

Speaking of Fr. Seraphim Rose, have you read Orthodoxy of the Future? Very interesting book, quite a condemnation of New Age, Hindu infiltration into Christianity. Also interesting stuff on UFOs.

Actually it might be called Religion of the Future, I gave the book away and don't remember the exact title.

I didn't read that one...did you notice the Icon of Bl. Seraphim under my name?

Now that you mention it. I've tried to get an icon under my name, but evidently I need some special software to make the picture small enough.

Is he your patron saint?
Mine's the Theotokos.

St. Nektarios is close to being my patron Saint but I pray with many Saints.
