Ok, I'm sorry if I'm making a bug deal about this, but I like the old hairstyles...I mean, like the Thick Hair...it's completly diffrent now, so why not keep the old one, and add the new one as well? I like all the new hairstyles, but I wish we could still keep the old ones too.:(

Also, the new "White Sweater" I ADORED The old one, and I liked it better than the new one...I mean, can we still make the old one like, White Sweater Style #2?

OK,before Raven or Knight find time to answer you,here is my little explanation:

items get changed for 3 main reasons:

1:the original requestor requests a change

2:copyright problems (the reason for many changes now in armoury-check the thread dedicated to it in the armoury forum)

the hair case

3:to improve quality,as at the beginning ,many items were rushed in the major conversion,and also,because of the atempt to unify he look,regarding teh light source
this will make all iems fit together well

that was the case of the white jumper

We had a number of hairstyles that were too derivative of dolls site hairdos and had to be redone. I'm not sure which hairdo is the "thick" one. If you post the current picture, I can let you know exactly why it was changed.

I think I figured out which hairstyle you meant...

Here is the hair from the elouai doll site.

As you can see, the style is nearly identical except for being resized. Elouai's license agreement doesn't permit this kind of reuse of their designs without citation accompanying every use of the image. So we'd have to put an Elouai billboard on every character wearing hair that is based on one of their designs. That would be against CF's "no spamming" rules, so we can't do that.

I know this is a popular hairstyle, both with men and women. We may revisit this style later to see if we can come up with something different, when we're not quite so busy trying to resolve all the copyright violations that have been allowed into the armory since last year.

I'm really sorry for the inconvenience. It's been a big inconvenience to the design team, too. Our work on new designs has ground to a halt for over a week.

I just bought the blond ponytail hair yesterday and equipped my character with it.

Today when I came online, the same hair was changed. It was thicker and wavy or kinky. It looked awful.

I loved what I had bought and was so disappointed with the change.

Also, the old style had little aqua-looking ponytail clips, which matched the outfit I had on my character.

Please consider changing back.

We can't change it back. The original design was a copy of something from another site, and it was a copyright violation.
