My name is Pride. I am a cheater!


I cheat you of your God-given destiny. Why? Because you demand your own way!


I cheat you of contentment. Why? Because you deserve better than this!


I cheat you of knowledge. Why? Because you already know it all!


I cheat you of healing. Why? Because you’re too full of “me’ and “I” to forgive!


I cheat you of holiness. Why? Because you refuse to say, “I admit I am wrong”!


I cheat you of vision. Why? Because you’d rather look in the mirror, than out a window!


I cheat you of genuine friendship. Why? Because nobody’s going to know the real you!


I cheat you of love. Why? Because real romance demands a sacrifice!


I cheat you of greatness in heaven. Why? Because you refuse to wash
another’s feet on earth!


I cheat you of God’s glory. Why? Because I convince you to seek your own!


My name is Pride. I am a cheater!


You like me because you think I’m always looking out for you.
How untrue that is. Why? Because I’m looking to make a fool of you!


Your Lord Jesus Christ has so much for you, and I admit that is so. But, don’t worry. Because if you stick with me.....You’ll never know.!

Heavenly Father, I come to you through our Lord Jesus Christ, and I ask You, Lord to keep all those who read this, in Your loving arms, In Jesus’ Name..

And I pray that our Lord Jesus Christ Jesus will be walking beside them as they walk their pathway that has been prepared for them by You, In Jesus’ Name..

And I pray that the Holy Spirit will fill them with the Wisdom and the Knowledge to complete all that You have placed upon their plate, from now and forever, In Jesus’ Name. AMEN

Pride is perhaps one of the most deadly sins and also one of the most overlooked.
Satan the father of sin rebelled against God though pride.

The sad thing is this is the sin I see everywhere, on everyone's face, in everyone's heart. I hate it and its in me too.

It's sad, but the more we see pride in others, the more we have it in ourselves.
