Hi guys.

I just want to know...when you were saved...what questions did you have? What doubts did the devil plant in your mind?
Anything at all.

All answers will be greatly appreciated.

God Bless :)

Satan will put anything and everything in your mind to cause you to doubt your faith. Not just in the begining but all through out your walk with Christ.

When those doubts arise go to God's word and you will always find the truth.

For years I stuggled with alot of things and had many questions regarding my faith. It wasn't until I started doing my own study, and not relying on just the church to teach me, did I really develope the relationship I always desired with Christ.

To have a real relationship with Jesus doesn't happen going to church, it happens when its one on one time with him. Just like you don't see a girl once a week and form a deep bonding relationship and then desire to be married, you must spend good one on one time with each other to really know each other.

Only those who trust in the Lord Jesus Christ. No one is "good" enough to get into heave, we have all sinned against God's law and will all face judgement according to his law. But if you take Jesus as your Savior then all your sins are forgiven.

But remember, it is more than just believing in Him. If I believe in a parachute it won't save me if I were to jump out of a plane....1st I must put the parachute on and take hold to it for it to do any good.

Only those who truely believe in their heart and turn from their ways are truely saved and will make it into Heaven.

A bit off the topic but hey...at least I got a response :)

Just to confirm...I would like to know what questions went through your mind when you were saved. Things like "How do I know I'm saved?", "Is God real?" etc etc.

I know we all had questions...I'm just trying to get an idea of the most common.

Thanks guys :)

How do you know your saved? Is God real? If God is of love then why does he alow suffering in this world?

There are many questions that will flood a christian's mind. Just remember one of Satan's greatest weapons is to cause doubt. That is why it is so important to study God's word and talk to him daily. The more time you spend with him all those doubting questions go away.

I wanted to know:

"how now shall I live?"

I devoured the Bible and anything written material about the Bible and prayed. I made a written list of all of the New Testament commands and regulations.

My fears were about how can I share this Good News with people whom I love before it is too late and how can I find other Christians who actually believe in the Bible and live their lives according to it (Christians without quotations).

I think most of my questions would have fallen into the "How do I know I'm actually saved" category.

And since my main weakness is with being disappointed by loved ones, the devil uses that to try and cast doubt into my mind about the love that the Lord has for me. Ironically enough, he uses other Christians to do this.

Thanks to everyone who posted an answer. I really appreciate it!!

Any other questions you have/had...post them here. I'm trying to get an idea of the most common doubts the devil sows in the minds of the new believer.

THANKS AGAIN!! :D
