Here is the meaning of the word opion = An opinion is a person's idea's and thought's towards something. An opinion is not fact , because opinions are either not flasifiable, or the opinion has not been proven or verified.

Here is the meaning of Judging = To form an opinion or estimation of afer cearful consideration : Judiging hights , Judging Character.

My question is this. Is having an opinion the same as judging ????

(Hebrews 5:11-to-14) Of whom we have many things to say, and hard to be uttered, seeing ye are dull of hearing.
(Heb 5:12) For when for the time ye ought to be teachers, ye have need that one teach you again which be the first principles of the oracles of God; and are become such as have need of milk, and not of strong meat.
(Heb 5:13) For every one that useth milk is unskilful in the word of righteousness: for he is a babe.
(Heb 5:14) But strong meat belongeth to them that are of full age, even those who by reason of use have their senses exercised to discern both good and evil.

"Falsifiable" -- I find this word irritating.

The problem here is that there has been a split between the way the majority of people in our society (including the literati) view truth and the way the people of God view it.

In ancient times the idea that truth is ultimately spiritual was pervasive, but there came a time when Nietzche could say "God is dead; long live science." What he meant by that was that now we could test and prove what was true without depending upon God; we had the scientific method to "prove" things. Today many people even apply this to the Bible and find the Bible lacking in their eyes. They have eaten of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil and have become their own arbiters of truth, when God tells us expressly not to lean upon our own understanding.

Here's what Jesus says about truth:
"If you abide in My word, you are My disciples indeed. And you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free."
(John 8:31-32)
So truth that does not come out of abiding in His word is not truth at all; at most, it is mere fact.

And if we KNOW the truth, we can freely judge according to it; Jesus said, "Do not judge according to appearance, but judge with righteous judgment." (John 7:24) And Paul said, "Do you not know that the saints will judge the world? And if the world will be judged by you, are you unworthy to judge the smallest matters?" (1 Corinthians 6:2)

We are not to hold opinions or judge things beyond that which we know: "Be of the same mind toward one another. Do not set your mind on high things, but associate with the humble. Do not be wise in your own opinion." (Romans 12:16)

hope this helps.....
