Come Meet Me In The Quiet Place


All the daily noise...all the clatter and clamor
that is a part of running this race,
Makes me lift up my heart...requesting my King
to come meet me in the Quiet Place.
So I pause to listen for His faithful reply
and it's carried by a breeze in the air.
He says, "My dear child...you come and meet Me
for I am ready and already there."
So I run into His presence and fall on my face
in awe that He desires time with me.
Then a rush of relief pours over my spirit
...for with Jesus I am totally free.
So I worship with abandon & hands lifted high
knowing my Creator is both Savior & Lord.
Nothing else matters when I am with Him
for all my brokenness in Christ is restored.
He tells me He loves me over & over again
and I tell Him that I love Him too.
I enjoy the preciousness of just being His child
and being held by the One who is true.
I crawl down from His lap to go face the world
while taking one more glimpse of His face.
For I know He'll be waiting for me to come back
and meet Him in the Quiet Place.

Key to doing so and finding a place!
