My husband will be having surgery later this morning. This is the surgery I spoke about at the end of spring, it's taken this long to get all the tests and the scheduling. He is nervous and I am having trouble sleeping of late and we have to be there at 6am. So prayers for sleep for both of us and for the Surgeon, Dr Fisher and his staff would be appreciated. Hopefully we will be home in time to ready for Shabbat, and I will give an update then.
Thank you to those who have already been praying, you are a blessing.

Blessed are You, L-rd G-d, King of the Universe, who has created man from the dust of the earth and woman from his side. We were not ment to be alone. Please touch Zayit, her DH, and Dr. Fisher and all those who will be treating him and caring for them. Guide their minds, eyes, and hands and give them wisdom and compassion. Fill them with peace and understanding. L-rd, we humbly and boldly seek miraculous healing and restoration for this man and a testimony to your mercy, grace, and glory. In the name of Y'shua, our messiah, I pray.
AMEN

I apologize for not thinking to open this thread, thank you to those who send me prayer pm's
Well, I only got about 45 minutes sleep last night when the alarm went off to get ready to go. They took him in right on time 6:15 and got him ready and prepped and the Doctor showed up at the last minute before they took him to OR. I spent the time waiting with him to read from my book of Tefillim. I think it was a comfort to him and anxioty diminished.
I met the Doctor and I liked him right away.
He came out after surgery and told me that every thing went pretty well, they did have a problem with some more bleeding than they expected, in fact the prep nurse told us he might refuse to operate because I had given him vitamins the night before, which no one told us about, more about that later as I am not too cognisent now and have to fix every other word for typos. He is resting now and with no bleeding showing, they made about 7-8 incisions and they are sore and he is bandaged pretty well, I amm praying for him to have a good nights rest, and for me too, cause I need it.
More tomorrow,
Thanks all again for lifting us up.
:groupray: Prayer changes things!

Hey all
Update:
He went back to work today for a little over half a day ( for him that was 7 hours) he was tired but stayed up until just a few minutes ago. It has been a very rough week though, , he took his vacation time and for me it was anything but. ;) I am just starting to catch up with things and have to do so in a hurry as the month is drawing to an end. Mind needs to get off the physical as much as possible and focus on the spiritual.
Again I thank each and everyone of you  who prayed for us. Things are looking good for now, next year when he has vacation time again he will be getting the bad leg worked on ( yes, this operation was on the better leg), so hopefully we won't have the blood geysers anymore.
