Are there any Soldiers out there who have spouses that are not Soldiers, or even Christians? How do you manage?
Thanks!

My hubby's not a soldier, but is a Christian... and is happy to make his spiritual home at the SA church I've been attending since before we were married. I really appreciate his willingness to do that - I'm sure it'd be a lot harder otherwise.

my wife isn't a soldier, doesn't wish to be. but attends with our kids every sunday morning. it's about balancing out between army commitment and family. being fare to both but family has to come first. especialy with kids. she chooses the army as her church.
I know someone who's husband doesn't come to the army at all and not supportive of her or her kids coming to the army. she finds it very difficult. her name is Tracey please pray for her.

Hi Chris, I am in a similar situation as Tracey. My husband deep down is a Christian but doesn't want anything to with attending church. He is positive for me and our daughter attending though. I don't want to push him as I want him to attend for himself one day and not just for my benefit. But, I am hoping that my prayers and influence will rub off on him one day. Chris, was it hard for your wife when you decided to become a soldier? I will most certainly pray for your friend Tracey!
Thanks

I was a soldier before we got married although she and the 3 children she had from a previouse marrage didn't go anywhere at that time. we got married in the army and sher had gone to church via girls brigad as a child so it was ok. she doesn't always understand or agree with the demands the army can place on its sodiers especialy where the kids are concerned. Re tracey my friend she's realy having probs see mercy seat place of prayer posting for update. (things have changed somewhat since last posted on here. praying for you though
