What do you think?

Oh....... wow...... uh.... humm....

Looks like Right-Wing brainwashing and emotionalism...

What happens when the adults in charge start teaching false theology? What happens when they all start to believe THEY are the "New Israel" and the Jews killed Christ.

I'm 100% for having well educated, well mannered, spiritual kids. But when I saw that, it gave me a sick feeling in my stomach.

Do they teach fact? Do they teach history? Do they teach kids to think logically, think for themselves? Or is it one big religious emotion fest?

I would NOT send my kid to a place like that.

It looks like a fanatic mob of indoctrinated children... I do not see that response as an answer to the spiritual battles we face.

I think, as believers, we ought to fight "Matrix" style. With thought, precise action, intelligence, controlled strength.... A deep & steady connection to HaShem through prayer.

This "Jesus Camp"... I wouldn't support it.

This kid says he got saved at 5 and "just wanted more out of life"

Oy freek'n Vey! :doh::doh::doh:

And the "warrior dance" thing? What was that? Tribalism. The blonde lady is butch and agressive in her rallying and promotion of the view she believes to be correct. What's with the children going into spasms on the floor? Huh?

How are kids so young going to be able to distinguish what is the 'leading of the Ruach Ha Kodesh' from Demonic spirits of Religiosity in that environment? And how can they discern where religious zeal stops and hatred for the enemy begins?

The Muslims train with grenades... so you are going to train with what? The same religious ferver and religious indoctrination from youth so you can control instead of them? It's the Crusades all over again.

that's just too weird.

the movie apparently will observe the politicizing of these kids...

I've never seen or heard of children acting like that before. I would not send my daughter, its too weird. They are babies, they're learning by watching others, that's a form of brainwashing right?

i would expect those outside of the Pentecostal movement to be shocked. Am I right in thinking both of you have not been in that environment much? Nothing wrong by that, just curious so I can guage responses.

pentecostal movement??? I don't attend the pentecostal church much at all, but i grew up my entire childhood in the pentecostal church and never was exposed to anything like that? I've never seen that behavior from such young children before.

Is that a pentecostal movement? I read evangelical?

evangelical is a big label. Pentecostal is more narrow.

one definition of Evangelicalism from wikipedia:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Evangelicalism
The word evangelicalism usually refers to a tendency in diverse branches of Protestant (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Protestant) conservative Christianity (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Conservative_Christianity), typified by an emphasis on evangelism (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Evangelism), a personal experience of conversion, biblically-oriented (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bible) faith, and a belief in the relevance of Christian faith to cultural issues. In the late 20th century (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/20th_century) and early 21st century (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/21st_century), Protestant people, churches and social movements have often been called evangelical in contrast to Protestant liberalism (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Liberal_Christianity).

And Pentecostal:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pentecostalism
The Pentecostal movement within Evangelical (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Evangelicalism) Christianity (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Christianity) places special emphasis on the gifts of the Holy Spirit (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Spiritual_gift), as shown in the Biblical account of the Day of Pentecost (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pentecost). Pentecostalism is similar to the Charismatic movement (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Charismatic_movement), but developed earlier and separated from the mainstream church.

I have never been pentecostal, but I do believe the gifts are to be used. I would not lable myself charasmatic- but I believe the Ruach moves in powerful ways.

What I see in the clips is emotionalism on the verge of mass hysteria. The kids have NO IDEA about the real world. They are just acting upon what their parents told them and how they have seen their parents act.

How does a 5 year old say "I just want more out of life than I'm getting right now... I need Jesus." LOL! ?!?!

My first reaction was one of revulsion - I was very spiritually hurt in my teens by Pentecostal doctrine so I am very leary about anything that smacks of brainwashing, guilt tripping, and elitism in the guise of spiritual teaching. I do not see anything of God in this "camp". It looks fanatical and scary to me.
