two great things, being able to help people and getting to know people (my fellow mods) that I would never come across otherwise.

for the house, I love to burn apple cinnamon scented candles. For personal use, I like jasmine.

That's Fergus, shortly after we brought him home, so maybe 2 months old. He's now a HUGE boy, nearly 85lbs. He's such a momma's boy.

I got it on both sides, my mom is Italian, my dad is Greek. Boy, was my house the favorite for all the neighborhood kids!

A little worn out. I spent the morning trimming all the hedges, then taking all the trimming to the county dump. Not a fun morning. Now it's time to get the little one from pre-school.

You know, I will gladly give you my address if you will send some italian food my way :D I eat all the time, most people hate me... I eat and eat and eat and never gain weight.

Then what you need is an Italian (or Greek) girlfriend who will cook for you. OR, depending on where you are, a good Southern girl should be able to take care of you. You need a girl who can cook!

I'm good, thank you. I went to the store and bought a lamp, some body spray and a crystal cross to put on my desk. Now I'm sitting here basically bored out of my head looking for something to do. I could sure go for some good Italian cooking, though. And yes, Southern girls make some good soul food themselves. I should know, I was raised in the South. ;)

I don't know if this counts as a memory or a tradition, but every year on Christmas Eve, we would watch the Nutcracker ballet (with Mikhail Baryshnikov)on the local PBS station. When it was over, signaled time for us to leave for Midnight Mass.
