I am on the youth staff at church and we are leaving today for a retreat. We have about 35 youth going and for many of them, it wil be their first youth retreat. Please pray for our speaker and for all the leaders and our precious youth. Only Abba's truth to be revealed and understood:prayer:
And can you pray for my 16 year old son. He has given up on God and he will be staying home by himself this weekend.
Thanks to you all:hug: http://www3.christianforums.com/images/icons/icon12.gif

Prayers going up. :prayer: May the L-rd visit and reach out to all the youth present and to your son (even at home), that all may be touched and moved by His wonderful love and that all consecrate, reconsecrate and/or convert themselves fully to the L-rd. May Yahushua speak through the speaker by the Holy Spirit and may the Holy Spirit bring about a wind of repentance and revival.
Shalom.

Thank you all for the prayers:hug: The weekend was awesome! We live in an area that is experiencing heavy smoke from 2 large forest fires and where the retreat was held is very close to the fires. As we traveled, the smoke became heavier, so much so that you could not see the surrounding mountains but as we turned off on the road that led to the camp, it was like the smoke just disappeared! We had beautiful sunny weather all weekend and not a hint of smoke:clap:
I am exhausted today. It was an intense weekend for the youth staff. We spent much time in prayer at night and in the mornings interceding for some of our very troubled youth. Our speaker was surprised by the amount of troubled, hurting youth we have. Everything from abuse, FAS, cutting, broken alcoholic homes, foster kids, abandoned kids... Actually, very few of our youth come from our church family. To be able to love them, to be in their lives is a privilege.
And thank you for praying for my son.http://www3.christianforums.com/images/icons/icon12.gif
