Oh wow. Hi Dee! Wow, I feel really special . Thank you .
My favourite colour is blue! Always has been and I painted my room blue a few years ago because of it...there's still paint on the carpet actually ^_^.
I love to eat any pasta dish or just pasta in general :D and, hmm, I'm not sure how many pairs of shoes I own...possibly 8-9?
And how are you this evening Dee?

flip-flop lol what a great name for them. they flip and flop.
what color/colors is your bible?
Bamboo_Chicken
4th September 2006, 10:32 PM
Lol, I hear Americans call them flip flops (I call them thongs :P).
My Bible is yellow and has a picture of a sunrise across the front, although it's got so many pink tabs sticking out where I've marked verses that it looks a little like it's got a pink border ^_^.
Hehe - I still can't get over that you made a thread with my name! Wow.

Too small? Lol! I love the description :D. But yes, that's why I added 'flip-flops' in there - I didn't want there to be any confusion.
Hi Steffi!
How do you feel about french vanilla cappucinos? :P
Not as strongly as you feel about them Blake :P. I'm not a coffee drinker myself, however I'm more than happy to make them for you in the Coffee House :).
/me sneaks into the Coffee House and makes Blake a french vanilla cappuccino and gets him a donut too (because if she remembers correctly he likes donuts).

Yea, I think he's teaching me the same thing as well lately. I've been in time in my life where I've just been so bored, yet I know God is also teaching and preparing me, in this time of boredom. Life can't always be crazy and fun. We need to settle down sometimes I guess.
Oh and settle for yuh with the exams.
At this very moment what would you rather do; go to the beach, go hiking, go to the snow in the mountains where there's a cottage and a nice warm fire place, or relax in a nice cozy expensive resort?

Right at this moment I pick option C (snow, mountains, cottage). I can imagine that would be quite peaceful and something I'd really enjoy :).

Jelly, you broke the first rule of this thread . You may not be serious while posting in Steffi's thread. But a very cute 'serious look' nonetheless ^_^.
I wear a size 2-8 sock, although I wear a size 10 shoe (my feet seem to grow when they go in shoes ). I've pretended to be a bunny rabbit looking for Easter Eggs...I had to act out how the Easter bunny hides eggs for our Sudanese neighbours. But we got to eat the chocolate afterwards, so it was all worth it. Approximately 11.5 times...including all the times I gave up. This will go to 12.5 after I post this becuase I 'hopped to it'. I love lemon meringue pie. It's right up there with apple pie, which will one day take over the world because of it's delicious flavour.
*takes a deep breath*
I play with hot wheels cars when I was little. They were so much cooler than barbies. I played the saxaphone for a day when I was 12 and gave up because it was too hard. I do quite well with claves and an egg shaker though...and I've been teaching myself to play the pan flute...for the last 4 years. I practice about twice a year.
My favourite phrase would be 'Skip with scraped knees' because we all fall somehow, sometime. We need to learn to get back up, dust ourselves off and skip with scraped knees.
*breathes out*
When I was 5/6 I wanted to be Fireman Sam from TV. So much so, in fact, that for Christmas my parents gave me a 'Fireman Sam pole' that they were going to put somewhere for me to slide down. It never happened though...I was distraught :(. Yes, I've had braces. Hehe - actually, I had braces and a permanent plate at the same time - I couldn't speak for 4 months (my family was quite impressed with this improvement). My real name is Stephanie and my middle name is not Apple. I really like my name and am glad Dad didn't get to name me Roxanne. I have a pet dog who LOOKS like a sheep. She's very scruffy. It depends...I dislike turnips, so if I was feeling very unwanted and unloved then I could empathise very well. Icky turnips.
*takes another deep breath because these questions just don't stop*
Bank? I have no idea! *goes to check* Oh wow! I've got blessings in there! That's really cool! (can you tell I don't use the bank much? hehe. Oh, the count is 377). You can certainly have a hug! You can have as many hugs as you like Jelly . I don't own a sink...but my parents have four and I live in their house.

Hey Steffi.
What are calves? and if you could ask God one question right now what would it be.
oh and heres a hug as well for being such a good friend
Calves are one of three things. First, calves can be the plural form of calf - a young cow. Second, they can be the fleshy, muscular back part of the human leg between the knee and ankle. Lastly, 'calves' is also a term used to refer to the seeds on the outside of a strawberry (the calves of a strawberry).* **
If I could ask God one question? Well, anybody who knows me knows I'm a very curious person...and a perfectionist. I would ask how I could do things better for Him.
Thanks for the hug! *giant hug back*
Umm... yea I'm pretty sure that count, cause I don't know too many people who can do that. So how was school for you today?
Oh gosh - I missed this part . School was good today thanks. I got to bed at 2am last night, woke up at 6am and then looked at my timetable...only to realise that I had a free period, maths and then another free period in the morning...so I didn't go to maths and took the first three hours off ^_^. It was great. It also rained all day...for the 4th day in a row.
I'm about to head out soon (i'm being taken out for lunch).
Hmm another question...
What are the name of all your pets and what are they?
ALL my pets? Oh golly. To be honest, I'm reasonably sure not all our pets have names. To list our pets...we have two dogs: Bundy and Roxie, I have a rat: Stern (pronounced Sh-tair-n...it's German for 'star' :P). We also have 3 guinea pigs, 4 chooks (chickens for you uncultured folk), approximately 20 finches, 2 budgerigars and 4 quails. I don't believe they have names .
I am also currently minding Ari's pet hamster Hugo III because I haven't really given him to her yet.
*I fully made that strawberry thing up :D
**Claves are more commonly known as rhythm sticks...or tappy sticks for my 4 year old mind!

So come on...who else is going to join this band? ^_^
On a different note: Everyone, my internet is being funky again at the moment. It wont let me on msn and keeps cutting out. How about the queen of self-inflicted drama? :sigh:
... or, if we're not having one of those, I'll do viola, as orchestra has helped me get my viola "skills" up! All those intense practices!

Wow, I'm so sorry it's taken me a while to get back to this! Things have been a little hectic :sorry:.
Blake and Alec, I'm doing well thanks :D. I got back from my camping trip yesterday and I have to say, it was wonderful! We stayed on a headland overlooking a beach and the water was so blue and the sand just went on for ages. I was beautiful and when we first arrived I just stood there and stared for a good 10 minutes :).
Today I've been applying to universities and doing more homework...fun fun fun!
What's your favorite name to be referred to by on Thursdays, Tuesdays, and Sunday nights?
On Thursdays I'm Anna, Tuesdays is Steffi and Sunday nights is Little Miss Sleepy. Every other day I go by Steph though ;).
What have you all been up to? Can anyone think of a name for the band? (I'll put a poll in if we can come up with some ideas).

In order of appearance...
Steffi - claves
Alec - tuba (and french horn if needed)
Ari - saxaphone
Blake - fiddle*
Nat - violin*
Kara - triangle
Diddle and friends - random instruments they invented :D
Snoopy - saxaphone
Kate - viola**
* They might be different names...but they're the same instrument! (sorry, random fact ^_^).
** Kate and her skills with the viola will be away for quite some time I believe. If you'd like to hear her play or keep in contact though, I believe she has left a link to her new blog in her CF profile (http://www.christianforums.com/~byootaful). Maybe we should write a song for her!!!

Only very briefly. My grandparents are convinced that I really should be going to uni in Germany . But I'm staying here :D.
Slightly off-topic...last night I got offered a 5 month job in America as a nanny for two kids. What was weirder was that they were people we met at the movies about 20 minutes before (Dad went to uni with the husband...20 years ago...hehe).
Yeah, I said no. It would have been an awesome opportunity, but I'll stick to my sunburnt country and social work course :P.

Have you ever named something you were about to eat? Do you like chickens? Have you ever counted down from 100 simply because you were bored? What's your least favorite vegetable? Can you balance a spoon on your thumb? Have you ever tried something risky just out of spite?(Like someone said you can't do it) Do you ever lick the spoons that you've mixed cake batter with? What's your favorite joke? How long have you gone without sleep? If you could be referred to Shama lama boople whatsits galore that is Steffi, would you do it? Can you do a cartwheel? Can you resist bad puns? What's something you would love to do for a living but never would because it could never possibly support you? What're your thoughts on apple pie? Aaaaaaaaaand have you cleaned your room today? :D

I’m glad the reps make you happy Miss Bean – you deserve them just for being an awesome person, let alone the posts you make!
You know, I realised I hadn’t! So I just named my biscuit ‘Alfonso’ and then ate it…him…her…umm . That’s the trouble with names! I don’t like eating them, but we have 4 as pets (they have no names!). Sadly yes…many, many times in Geography and History. I’ve fallen asleep more than once in those classes too (shh!). My least favourite vegetable is a carrot. Who ever heard of eating an orange thing with green hair that came from the ground? That and Mum puts carrots in almost every meal…icky! *wrinkles nose* Which part of the spoon am I balancing? Because I’m sure there are a lot of ways to do it.
Something risky? Lol, Jelly, to give you a little insight into the Shama lama boople whatsits galore that is Steffi, I’ve ended up in hospital every year without fail since I was 12 for doing stupid things . I’ve jumped off a fence and torn the tendon in my ankle, run into a brick wall and busted my knee, broken both my wrists reffing a basketball game, stacked a scooter while doing some stupid tricks (I just wanted to go faster!), etc. Half of them have come because I wanted to prove someone wrong…so don’t ever tell me I can’t do something! I always lick the spoons…and then I stick them back in and put more batter on them…I’m really kidding – I rarely cook, but I always lick the spoons when my sister does (and I don’t stick the spoon back in…too many times).
I don’t actually have a favourite joke…although I find this one funny…
A lady was pregnant with twins when she got into a car accident. She was in a coma for weeks. When she woke up, her children had been born. When she asked what her children were named, the doctor explained,
"Since you where not awake, we had your brother name the children."
"Oh great, my brothers an idiot! Alright, tell me what he named them."
"Well, he named your daughter Denise."
"Oh, that's a nice name! This might not be so bad."
"And he named your son Danephew."
You don’t want to know me when I don’t get to sleep . The longest I’ve stayed up thought would be until 4am doing a history assignment – I’ve never done an all-nighter and I’m not planning on it any time soon! And if anyone can bring themselves to refer to me as Shama lama boople whatsits galore that is Steffi, then they may! I can’t do a cartwheel…actually, I can’t do any more than light activity with my wrists since I broken them. I love bad puns! Although they often make me cringe. I’d be a mod on CF all day every day.
My thoughts on apple pie? If I wasn’t doing my last few weeks of high school I would almost write you a thesis on the wonder that is apple pie *angels sing*. It’s the most amazing dessert ever invented and can turn frowns to laughter and icky tasting dinners into feasts. Apple pie has my vote! And no, I haven’t cleaned my room today…in all honesty, I haven’t cleaned it in a few months and there’s so much junk on the floor that it takes a gymnastic routine to get from my bed to the door. But how else am I meant to find my study notes?! ^_^
I'm doing good steffi You should consider coming to university in Canada. We have the best university in B.C. right here where I live
Hehe, I'm sure it's awesome Alec...but Canada's an awful long way away!

And yeah, Japan, right? I know you said you'll probably have no internet access, but you'll have to tell us all about it when you get back! And teach us all a lot more Japanese than just adding 'san' and 'ko' at the end of names. I hope you have an awesome time away Hun!

Hi . What's your favorite Christmas memory?
Hi ChristmasJoy .
Umm...my favourite Christmas memory? Golly, that's hard. I think I'll go with the most recent though :). My Mum is German and even though we're in Australia, we celebrate Christmas on Christmas Eve after an afternoon 'multicultural' church service :). We always invite some family friends to come to the service and after the annual church nativity play we invited our friends home. We get to open our presents after dinner on Christmas Eve and last year it was great to sit around, both with my family and family friends, and to laugh and joke and remember old times. It was great!

Lol, when I put my mind to something I usually stick to it Kara. I'm still keen for pink hair :P.
Um, it was actually a lot better this year. In Germany they do one tooth at a time (unlike Australia, where it's all 4 at once). I got one taken out last year and reacted badly to the iodine that they put on there afterwards. I passed out the day after getting it out because of the bad reaction. I was also on a lot of painkillers for a while.
This year went a whole heap better though. I was eating solids within 2 days, even though my cheek was totally swollen. Now it's bruised yellow and has gone down to my neck, but no more pain :P.
So no, it's not as bad as it seems.

The classics. Peter Pan!!! Lady and the Tramp, The Aristocats, The Jungle Book, Beauty and the Beast, Cinderella, Snow White, The Lion King, Bambi, Aladdin, Pocahontas and The Hunchback Of Notre Dame...although I wouldn't fit them all in one night ^_^. Mulan too, even if it's not 'classic'.

Just one song? I would love to sing any song beautifully and perfectly. For the moment though, I'd say Krystal Meyers - The Beauty Of Grace.
