for the unsaved nations of the world?

so often we only talk about Israel and Jews and Christians... but what about the rest of the world? How does the call to make disciples of them impact your walk? Do you even think about it? Don't you think we should?

Definitely. You never know where the rest of Israel is, and anyone who joins with Her, is ALWAYS "in the family"...

I have always had a burden for the world. Ironicly I will be moving back to "the fatherland" in June, and with that being one of the major countries that used to send out missionaries, it is now one of the largest mission fields, to our people, as well as the Germans and any other person working there... especially my soon to be family.

Neat! :)

You never know where the rest of Israel is

Is this a common mentality among MJs? That you go into the world to reach Israel and not simply to reach the world?

and not in response to your post...
"to the jew first and then to the gentile"... people quote that to me a lot when they talk about why they aren't involved in evangelizing the nations or even their neighbors... but is that just an excuse? Are we truly valuing one people over another in the way we act? Do we care more about reaching one nation to the detriment of forgetting and ignoring the others?

Well said Eirene.

Go unto all the World, preaching the Gospel and the Good news of the Kingdom of God.

This shows your heart. Bravo to you sis.

I think sometimes we all run the risk of getting too insulated, too surrounded by like minded people. I talked to my youth pastor about it a couple of weeks ago and he struggles with it.

I don't think any of us feel like we care and share enough - it is always something we can do more of.

I remember my life before Abba so I try to do my part here in my town, in my life....trying to be faithful with what God has given me - isn't that all we can do?

Scripture says that not everyone has the same gifts or calling. Some might be called to share with their own people, some might be called to share with people of other nations.

For example, the ministry of Jewish Voice (http://www.jewishvoice.org/) - Jonathan has a deep burden to share the good news with Jewish people, but his Festival Outreaches attract more than just Jews. About half of the people that come to Yeshua as a result of attending are not Jewish, but that doesn't change his focus or his hearts desire.
