If you read the thread "Bible Translations" , you read the post where I accused someone of not being a Christian. I just wanted all of you to know that I have privately apologized to that person for making such an unfounded statement. During a debate, things can get heated, and things can get said that are regretted later. I hope none of you will hold this against me.

 Thank you for this example of humility and repentance. It isn't easy to admit when we've made a mistake. May God bless you for this.

mesue,
I really appreciate that. Being able to admit when you're wrong and seeking forgiveness has to happen if you want to be right with God. That's more important to me than anything.

In a day and age where Christians are too often putting their foot in their collective mouths, it's inspiring to see someone courageous enough and humble enough to say "I was wrong" and seek forgiveness.
Lord knows, we've all been here...you're an inspiration to the rest of us!
God Bless,

All I can say is welcome to CF - we're glad to have someone with your grace and your humbleness.

Shoulda been warned about starting a "translation" thread.:P
But takes everone's words with a grain of salt. We're dumb, fallible humans, passionate most of the time over things that dont matter much, but it's honorable to see someone get out of the pride box and offer an apology. I've had to do it before and it really does take a weight off.
But keep posting. You ask good questions.

I appreciate that. It's good to have that weight off too! I'm not much for confrontatations and try to avoid it at all costs. I know sometimes it's necessary, but still...:)

Hey we all have to learn somehow
Or someway or the other but at least
We try to do it in a Christian way
In a Christian environment!
