Often we have told every story we can think of and are looking for yet another story for the children at bed time. Thought this thread would be a good place to collect them.

can't say i know any particular resources for messianic kids stories... but i'm sure that the events in the Scriptures would work!

I always liked hearing stories about "a little girl named Julia" when I was young... I think many children like to hear tales about themselves... so maybe weaving "Julia" (or whatever child) into the Bible stories could be a neat way of relating them... like Yeshua gathering Julia and her friends to him and saying "let the children come to me"....

Oh, yes, the children love "when I was a kid" stories. They love it when we tell of times when they were a kid, and when we were a kid, never thought about weaving myself or them for that matter into the biblical story. But that would be a great way of pulling them into biblical events.

Hmmm, I would be hesitent. IMO it borders on fiction and can confuse the child.
