some people believe that if we die before Christ comes we go to hell, but not the lake of Fire. They believe that when Christ returns we will be resurrected and with the Lord forever....... Is this true?? bcuz i was taught that when we die we got to either Heaven or hell. And ofcourse Christians go to heaven.

Hi D2L,
Don't get involved with all this stuff, if you do, you'll get ulcers.
When you die, you know where you will be going then when you stand in front of our Saviour and Master.
You know what the Law is so live it the best way that you can, and don't get involved with technicalities or legalities.

If you are a Christian, you definitely will not go to hell. I honestly don't know where we will be until Christ comes, but God loves us to much to send us to hell. The whole purpose that Jesus dies was to keep us from having to go to hell. But I wouldn't worry about where we go, because we know God will take care of us. And we always have Heaven to look forward too!!

When you die, if you are a Christian, you go to Heaven ~ but the others are right, It's sure not something to cause worries. I believe this earthly experience is to teach us about the LOVE of Christ!
Be Blessed & at Peace!

This is based on a confusion of words in Greek. The word most often translated "Hell" (and there're others) -- "Hades" is sometimes simply "the place of the dead". But other times it definitely points to a place of punishment.
But that doesn't change the reality that we're headed for.
For God has not destined us for wrath, but to obtain salvation through our Lord Jesus Christ, who died for us so that whether we are alive [lit. awake] or dead [lit. asleep] we might live with him. 1 Thess 5:9-10

Whoever told you that was not telling the truth. Paul, who was in prison and looking at the very real possibility of a death sentence because of his preaching, wrote:
"For to me, to live is Christ and to die is gain. If I am to go on living in the body, this will mean fruitful labor for me. Yet what shall I choose? I do not know! I am torn between the two: I desire to depart and be with Christ, which is better by far; but it is more necessary for you that I remain in the body." - Phillipians 1:21-24
Also, remember:
"Therefore, there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus, because through Christ Jesus the law of the Spirit of life set me free from the law of sin and death." - Romans 8:1-2
