A little while ago, I was going through my seizure diary, and noted that since a dosage increase on Friday I am having less seizures. Praise God! What is something you can be thankful for today? What awesome thing has God done for you, whether great or small?

I thank God for the ability to hypnotize. Without that, I wouldn't have been able to marry my wife who is more than I deserve. I'm also thankful for the baby that we are about to have (late October). I started a new job last month that I rather enjoy. I'm thankful for being able to pay my mortgage, put food on the table...and I could go on and on and on and on and on....

That is indeed something to praise Him for! May God continue to keep you safe and happy.

I'm thankful for everyone on this forum who's made me smile, made me think, made me angry, made me doubt myself, and made me strengthen my resolve. God puts us where He wants us for His purpose, and for the edification of His children, and I praise Him that you were placed in my life today.

Shalom, y'all

I am thankful for friends who stand by and support my family and me during our difficult times. Friends who encourage, love, and pray for us. How wonderful it is that God has given us the gift of friendship!

thankfull I don't have seizures now. We all have our struggles though. I would trade my alcoholism for epilepsy any day

Lately I'm particularly thankful for my 5 year old grandson, Lukas, who wants to see God. (let me tell you, his questions are keeping me on my toes:thumbsup: )

I'm thankful for my little sister who is "The Pest of My Life." (she'll tell you that herself!) How can anyone have a bad day when a little girl with curly blonde hair asks you, with a grin, to "inside out" her clothes?

I'm thankful for a Circle K employee that didn't throw out a particularly sweaty, raggedly looking customer who just sat down on the floor with his walking stick between the counter and the door to drink his gatorade. Mainly because that was me that would have been thrown out if she had, but I had walked about a mile with a 20 pound backpack, and it was at least 90 degrees outside.

I'm thankful that the wallpaper is almost completely stripped from my bedroom walls and that most of the spackling and sanding is done. Seeing how it's taken almost a month and a half or more to do it, you have no idea what a relief it is! Praise God for giving me the time to work on it with my sister!

I am thankful the doctor's office just called and told me I will be getting my medicine for free from the pharmaceutical company. Thats over $300 we can use for other things now!

ohhh I do know. lol I am thankful I finally got to the point where all the texture is sprayed on my walls (done yesterday) and ceiling on the main floor (living room, hall, kitchen, dining room, and entry way) and the bedroom and office will be smooth and ready for paint by the end of the day tomorrow. I removed a drop cieliing from all the areas that just got textured, rewired all the lights etc that had the wire hidden by the drop ceiling, and removed kitchen cabinets that were above the counter/breakfast bar between the kitchen and entryway. Prime, paint, floor and trim are basically all that is left. The basement is half done (put in 2 bedrooms for my sons). Still need to level the floor, install floor repair some walls etc.

I am thanful despite my physical disability that God can and does use me for His service making me rely on Him for strength and endurance to accomplish what He places on my heart.

I am thankful for my family and friends.

Most of all I am thankful for His love and His Son.

My bedspread came a day early! That means that we can begin choosing paint colors, which means that it will be finished sooner!

There's a picture of the bedspread in my blog. . .

My mother is still alive today.

She has cancer and had major surgery at the beginning of August. She's recovered, but is getting ready to have radiation done to her.
