how to do anything with the homepage I got from y'all

I've looked at the optrions but I'm lost.....

Are there guidelines or instructions somewhere to use to customize our homepages?

By the way, thanks for creating a homepage for me :)

so far there are no guidelines yet :sorry: but it would be really cool to have everything - at least about the options part - explained somewhere here

the options are kind of the same as when you're changing font/ colour of your posts...what I did was to change font/colour in one of my posts to what I wanted them to be on my homepage and then copy the names of the font/colour and paste them in the boxes at the homepage editing page :sorry: works pretty well :)

it's difficult to explain html since it's a language of its own...I used a html editor on my comp where I could preview what the page looked like and then copied the code into the html section....but you still have to know something about html programming....

hope that helps you a little :sorry:

be blessed <><

(Hebrews 9:14) How much more shall the Blood of Christ, Who through the eternal Spirit offered himself without spot to God, purge your conscience from dead works to serve the living God?

Thanks, Roger459

I'd simply like to know HOW to upload an image!

It's some kind of mystery.

you mean for the background of your page?

the simpliest way to do it is to post a new thread in the test forum (http://www.christianforums.com/f141-testing-123.html) and post a new thread there where you post the picture as an attachment like you would do if you posted it in the forums.....and then take the URL from the picture in that post

how to post an attachement:
click on new thread (top of the forum)...then scroll down to where it says attach files and click on manage attachements....a new window will pop up where you can search for the picture on your computer....when you've found the picture click on open...and then press upload...when you can see a little icon with the name of the picture beside it where it says current attachements you can close that window...submit the new thread....once the thread is submitted you can click on the picture and copy the picture URL...and paste that one in the options for your homepage....

or you get yourself a photobucket account and store the picture there...then you have the link standing beneath it and can copy and paste the link....
