I hope these two questions are easy to everyone else. I am really working on knowing the Bible despite my "disability". Anyways...

1) What is Zion and where is it? And who is this Daughter of Zion?

2) Who is Melchizdek that the book of Hebrews talks about? (about Jesus like Melchizdek)

Thanks in advance!

someone will correct me if I am wrong, but the way I read it
The term "Daughter of zion" is applied to the captive Jews (Lamentations 4:22 (http://www.searchgodsword.org/desk/?query=la+4:22)), but in other references to the people of Jerusalem (Isaiah 1:8 (http://www.searchgodsword.org/desk/?query=isa+1:8); 52:2 (http://www.searchgodsword.org/desk/?query=isa+52:2); Jeremiah 4:31 (http://www.searchgodsword.org/desk/?query=jer+4:31),
Zion appears to be the equivalent of Jerusalem; either in parallelism (Psalms 102:21 (http://www.searchgodsword.org/desk/?query=ps+102:21); Amos 1:2 (http://www.searchgodsword.org/desk/?query=am+1:2); Micah 3:10,12 (http://www.searchgodsword.org/desk/?query=mic+3:10,12); Zechariah 1:14,17 (http://www.searchgodsword.org/desk/?query=zec+1:14,17); 8:3 (http://www.searchgodsword.org/desk/?query=zec+8:3); Zechariah 3:16 (http://www.searchgodsword.org/desk/?query=zec+3:16)) or alone (Jeremiah 3:14 (http://www.searchgodsword.org/desk/?query=jer+3:14); Lamentations 5:11 (http://www.searchgodsword.org/desk/?query=la+5:11));

2) Who is Melchizdek that the book of Hebrews talks about? (about Jesus like Melchizdek)
He's in Genesis 14:17-20:
After Abram returned from defeating Kedorlaomer and the kings allied with him {the first part of the chapter describes the battle}, the king of Sodom came out to meet him in the Valley of Shaveh (that is, the King's Valley). Then Melchizedek king of Salem {Jerusalem} brought out bread and wine. He was priest of God Most High, and he blessed Abram, saying,

"Blessed be Abram by God Most High, Creator of heaven and earth. And blessed be God Most High, who delivered your enemies into your hand."

Then Abram gave him a tenth of everything.
Psalm 110:4 mentions him too.

Why is he important? He shows that people worshipped God before Moses, and so the Mosaic laws and sacrifices aren't necessary. Jesus is a priest for us, not like the Jewish priests, but like Melchizedek, who came before them, and was more important than them.

Thanks you guys for taking the time to answer my question. I'll assume Dawn's answer for Zion is right unless someone mentions otherwise!

Thanks again both of you!
