I am just getting used to being a part of this forum, but I realized that if I wanted to be really a part of this group I shoud share.

My granddaughter was baptized on Sunday evening. My husband attended with us. He attends baptisms and this was the last one.

Congradulations! My daughter also got baptised last Sunday, coincidently. Except she got baptised on the beach. :)

The baptistry is not at our church. We hold all our baptism services at a sister church.

Praise God for your granddaughter's faith and obedience to His Word.

I always get a little teary at baptisms - sort of like weddings.

[As an aside - you might want to suggest to your pastor that he get rid of the microphone. Within the past few months I read about a pastor (and I believe church member also) who was electrocuted because of using a mike in the bapistry. Pretty awful.]
