Anyone know what this might refer to?
The term isn't coming together in my head. I took the phrase from wikipedia's definition of "fundie or fundy" (because I'm trying to figure out if I am one) which says, in part, that the term is intentionally derogatory, and is used most commonly by those opposed to the Religious Right movement. It is a pejorative slang term used in the United States to refer to Fundamentalist Christians, usually those who hold to Biblical inerrancy, are Creationists, or who believe that we are living in the End Times, especially those with a predispensational millenialist view.
I'm guessing it refers to the second coming of Christ, but the wording has me confused. I'm familiar with the seven dispensations, and the fact that five have been fulfilled and we're in the sixth right now (near the end is what most, including myself, believe). The seventh is commonly called the Millennium, or the Thousand Year Reign of Christ. So given all that . . . what could "predispensational millenialism" mean??? And if it does, in fact, refer to the second coming of Christ, then why are those particular words--pre-dispensational and millennialist--being used?

Yes,
It is a simple outline of the Bible. Without getting involved in theological jargon lets deal with it in simple terms. In the end that is what it is.
You will have a host of views and ideas thrown at you here in a short while. But keep it simple.
Outline point number one
I. Innocence - Starting at Creation - Ending at fall
II. Conscience - Starting at Fall continues to end of this heaven and earth
III. Government - starting after the flood and continuing to the end
IV. Promise to Abraham - starting there and continuing to the end
V. Law starting with Moses and ending with Christ
VI. Church Age or Grace - Starting death burial resurrection of Christ and coming of HS to the Rapture yet future if not today
VII. 1000 year kingdom following the 7 year tribulation between the Rapture and Second coming. Last 1000 years.
The 7 years between the rapture and second coming are the left over years of the e70th week of Daniel.
What is taking place in this outline is God is progressively revealing new thinks. From this point to that point people only had "X" amount of revelation and that is the basis of believe. Salvation in all time of History is by faith and because of God's grace. People prior to Christ only had limited revelation and some none. The progressive unfolding of God's will, plan, is demonstrated in Scripture past, present, and future.
So, while there are a lot of things going on in Scripture there are only 7 distinct revelations of Change or New things or information about where things are headed and what is going to happen.
To make anything else of it is simply to argue, and dispute. Some may very well try or do that.
Don't get covenants confused with this outline. The word simply defined means that God is running things His way and is doing so in stages. He will one day change everything again by taking the Church out to finish up the 70th week of Daniel then introduce the 1000 year kingdom on earth.
Always keep it simple. Don't let highfalutin words and theological arguments through you. I know all that stuff and have studied it all my life, have several degrees in it too.
Now to answer the specific question Pre-dispensationalist meaning, not sure where this term comes form. Where did you read it or hear it?
Pre-Tribulation is common but Pre-dispensational ???? Could be a miss use of terms and understanding.

As much as I don't care for Wikipedia, that's where this verbage comes from. In terms of the Seven Dispensations, the term pre-dispensational doesn't mean anything to me, either.
So, on the wikipedia website, when I looked up the definition of "fundie" I did indeed see the phrase pre-dispensational millennialist so I clicked on it and got this:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Christian_eschatology#Kingdom_of_God:_Literal_Millennial_views
I'm simply trying to figure out what exactly a "fundie" is and, since I have been called one, I am trying to figure out if this is true or not. I'm not convinced that Wikipedia would be the trusted source on this, however.
I appreciate your reply, GordonSlocum. Even though I know you tried to keep it simple, I still might have to read it a couple more times. :) I think the whole subject matter is fascinating.

Since it is Wikipedia, I think they may have messed up and meant a 'Dispensationalist Premillennial view'.

Now THAT might make more sense . . .

It's not called pre-dispensational millenialism .... It's called pre-mill dispensationalism.
Pre-mill meaning you believe in a return of Christ first followed by the thousand year reign. Dispensational meaning you believe that God has dealt with people in different ways throughout time(dispensations).
