Hi, folks-
Well, I posted this back on the Golden Eagles, may as well post it here.
I woke up this a.m. at 4:30 short of breath. I've done that before, and think I may have overeaten last night. This episode seemed a bit more severe. I have to take lorazepam for anxiety, and I don't know if it's wearing off and I'm having little withdrawals or what. I "think" it was an anxiety issue, but really not sure.
Barb now--She's had, for several days, weird-shaped red spots or places on her legs, and possibly in other places. They are shaped strange, some resembling outline water stains like a ceiling might have, that leaks. Others are just shaped like a comma (,) or look like bugs would look under a microscope. We have no idea WHAT this is! I just pray it isn't some kind of blood disorder trying to happen. She takes no new meds, just her regular ones she's taken for years.
I am going to try to get us both in to see a Dr. in the a.m. Our regular Dr. is on medical leave, and the subbing Dr.'s office would not respond to our doctor's workers calls to try to get me an antibiotic for the teeth infection. No telling what that is doing to me, by this late date!
Thanks for all prayers, guys. We can stand 'em about now.
God bless,
Tony & Barb

Thanks so much, family!
We are doing some better this a.m. I slept like a log, didn't wake up short of wind, and feel pretty good. Barb's back seems better too--The Great Physician is right!
I think I overate the other night, and when I do that, I sometimes wake up short of O2. I need to cease pigging out!:D
God bless all,

You still need to get checked out. There's several health issues that can cause this. I know you mentioned "anxiety attacks" and my mom has found that thyroid, mitreal valve prolapse even allergies can cause anxiety attacks/panic attacks that causes breathing problems at times. She takes magnesium tablets to help her with that. When a person stress level goes up their magnesium depletes out of their system. Magnesium is a natural thing our bodies needs to work right. You still need to get checked for other stuff too.
Meds also can cause problems with your body and what a person has taken for years can now cause an allergy to it.

Howdy, Red!
That all sounds like right-on advice. I'm going to get checked, and request some bloodwork. That will usually turn up deficencies. It's always good to eliminate any other possibilities, that's true. A few years ago, I turned up for B-12 def. Well, I took shots for a while, got better, then I started testing okay, and ceased needing the shots. What's odd is, I'd always heard that once you need the shots, you always will. I need to look into some sublingual B tabs, but haven't gotten it done yet. That might help.
Thanks, and we will let you guys know how all this goes.

Glad that you both are doing good
Just keep seeking not just your regular doctor
But get a second opinion on it as well!
Good luck my friends!

..........
Noop, shore ain't.
We saw the p.a. this a.m.
Barb's back is again worse, and she had pain all through the night. The breaking out, red splotches all over her body, they haven't a clue what THAT is. She received a steroid shot for that, and will be taking Difulcan (for fungus infections). If she isn't better with that, she shall return to the doctor's office in about a week.
They gave me a B-12 shot, and I hope it will perk me up. What's strange, I showed to need them 3 years ago or so, and did take shots for a while. Then, my bloodwork started showing I didn't need it anymore.
The p.a. seemed to feel that once you need them, you might always, so, go figure.
If I also don't feel any better within a week, return.
They were going to try to find a less-greedy dentist and one that could work around my problems of tinnitus and hyperacusis, along with anxiety. That one may be impossible to pull off.
That's it for now.

Well, if "better" means having a sore throat all day yesterday, then I guess I am. I think I'm really better today in that regard. We're "here", but won't brag yet.;)
